Yes, we have a good everyone from Ileana and Lauren. So we're good there. Uh let's see here. And a T G I Fetty's in there with a good morning.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

And I'm sorry, but she said uh good morning. Uh good or no.

SPEAKER_02

But what?

SPEAKER_01

Betty's grammatical writing always throws me off for some reason. She goes, Beautiful morning, good everyone. I mean, it's only four words, but for whatever reason, it's the pattern of the way it lays out. I'm not used to speaking the way she does. Right, because whoa, whoa, whoa.

SPEAKER_02

You want to cough that out? I was just choking on some coffee and I didn't I didn't realize it actually like affected my voice. Anyway, um, yeah, because you usually start off with good everyone.

SPEAKER_01

And then beautiful people. Oh, what a beautiful Maybe I'm not used to seeing beautiful or seeing beautiful around my name. That could be what it was. Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_02

Uh then Gavin was testing the the text messaging. Did you see this? No. Test.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, Gavin. It worked. Hey, today is a great day for you. And I'm gonna I wanna mention this. There are different levels of this. Today is International Nagging Day. And here's the thing about this.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, you think I nag?

SPEAKER_01

No. I think well, yes, but you do it different. Oh, do I? So here's the thing. So it's I'm gonna I'm gonna pay a compliment right up front here. Wow. Tiffany is not a nager. Okay. She will abuse me with put downs in a beautiful way. Uh-huh. You know. It's a theme in your life. It's subtle, but you know, also I know it's not it's not nasty. Like I think she's, you know, in her very dry way, uh-huh, you know, uh teasing me. Yeah. But it's not nagging, uh, per se, right? I'm probably the nager in the house. In fact, I probably drive her BS crazy because she likes to do things at her own pace. Okay. I struggle with her pace. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Let's say So roles are um well, in typical households, you would say roles would be reversed in yours.

SPEAKER_01

I would. And I'll give you the example.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

She always comes through on birthdays for like the kids, you know, like with what we're planning. The problem is it's always three days before the birthday, and I'm in full panic mode. I can do it. She'll tell me afterwards. I've had that ordered for six weeks, and I'm like, oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

You have to over-communicate with Scott.

SPEAKER_01

So, yep, yep. Yep. Yep. So what happens?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I parted, let me tell Scott.

SPEAKER_01

Yep. So what happens is broke a toe, tell Scott. I have begun the nagging process and I drive her, like I said, I drive her crazy. And it's just something I need to get over. I may have to schedule a session with uh the therapist. But uh I I can't because I'm used to uh look, I used to be very last minute.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

But then for some reason something changed, and I'm like, I gotta get a little bit ahead, and it causes me to do that.

SPEAKER_02

I think I know what it is. Once you got full custody of the kids, then it's this is all me. Like there is no so you knew that if anything fell behind, there's no one. I mean, yes, you have Tiffany, but like you are the person.

SPEAKER_01

There's yeah, that's I think that sub subconsciously probably was a big piece of it.

SPEAKER_02

I feel like that's when the change happened.

SPEAKER_01

So that that I will say, I freely admit that I'm the jackass with that. Now let me go over to Allie. Allie handles things a little bit differently. Yeah, there's nagging, but it's not nagging in the traditional sense. I don't I don't like this word. It is very snarky and very just, you know, cutesy jabsy. Do you ever cross that passive aggressive? That's the word. Uh do you ever cross the line though and go full in? Like, I don't know, maybe Zach's just too nagged? Yeah, maybe Zach's too afraid of you and and just make sure that stuff gets done.

SPEAKER_02

But uh so uh two things. Number one, I I don't consider it nagging because you should have done it the first time.

SPEAKER_01

And so Oh if that's not justification and it's fine.

SPEAKER_02

It's not. It's just being a team player. And then the second I can't deny it. And the second thing is, no, I don't, I'm not a full on I don't first of all, I don't have to tell him over and over and over again.

SPEAKER_01

Because he's terrified of you, I don't like it.

SPEAKER_02

Well, so he said the other day, he goes, I just don't ever want to disappoint you.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's terrification. Oh, it absolutely is. Terrification invented a word.

SPEAKER_02

But it absolutely is. But even the other day And you love it. I do. Even the other day, I made dinner. We have a little thing in our household. If you make dinner, then the other person cleans up. Because we're a team.

SPEAKER_01

Sure.

SPEAKER_02

And and so he didn't do the dishes. So the next day, he was talking about just, you know, eventually when he moves in, and he was like, Oh, you know, I gotta keep my weight around here. And I said, Oh, like when you didn't do the dishes last night. No. See, that's where it happened. See, there it is.

SPEAKER_01

It's it's not really nagging in the traditional sense, it's just a good jab, you know?

SPEAKER_02

And he's like, I knew it, I knew that was gonna come back on me.

SPEAKER_01

I knew, and oh look at uh yes, go ahead. I want to hear your audio text, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god, he's just clothes everywhere. He'll wear a shirt for a few hours and then he'll throw it on a dresser or the desk or something, and then he'll have a pile of clothes that he's worn for maybe a couple hours, and then they just sit there in a pile. It's like, oh my gosh, dude, just let me wash it and put it away. And then eventually I collect a lot of clothes and wash it. Well, where did that go? Like I leave a lot of people.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, see. I I I'm actually with I'm actually with him on this. I have you know, things get sweaty dirty. Yes yesterday, we were standing by the smoker at the farmer's market. My my clothes smelled like chicken barbecue. Yeah. That is absolutely going in the wash.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

But these pants I'm wearing today, I only wore them for a very brief time. So they've been living. There's I have this like little vanity thing. Yeah. They've been like hanging.

SPEAKER_01

Ah, that's fine. That that's not okay.

SPEAKER_02

It's closed purgatory, is what I like to call it.

SPEAKER_01

Close purgatory.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, it's not ready. It's not ready for laundry, and it's about to go back on my bottom.

SPEAKER_01

I'll give you one other example of Tiffany's not really nagging, just taking a good. Oh, I love this. So uh she's on this new kick now that all clothes must be turned right side right before it goes in the laundry to get the dog hair off. Now, it makes total sense. And and admittedly, it takes me a ramping in period to be able to absorb the orders you're giving. Not gonna lie about that. So uh instead of did you well, there's two things.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, wait, wait. Are you saying you take your pants off and it's like they're inside out? No, please don't.

SPEAKER_01

Um, no, uh, yeah. So if they're wrong side, right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but you take your pants off and it's like you flip them inside out?

SPEAKER_01

No, you flip them the right way. You know when you take it. No, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_02

When you're taking your pants off. I'm not talking about before the laundry. I'm saying you are end of day taking your pants off.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Do you take them off and then all of a sudden the inside is on the outside?

SPEAKER_01

No, if that happens, you have to turn it the right way. Of course. That's yes.

SPEAKER_02

I never my clothes are rarely flipped.

SPEAKER_01

Where they're inside out.

SPEAKER_02

Correct.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So that being said, okay, uh, what she'll do is it'll start like this. It first it starts like this. And I don't know, you guys can tell me if this is nagging. I don't think it is. I think this is just her way to, you know, stick it to me. So she'll give me the the the first will be Did you turn all the clothes right side right side out or right side in, inside right, whatever the word is. The way we're the right way. The way that you would wear them. And as I'm in the middle of saying, why yes, I mmm. Oh, back to the mm-hmm. Go back to the podcast. You'll catch that one. So that'll be the first round of it. The next round of it becomes you didn't turn it right side right, did you? I'm like, but I I did. Like, she's already in this denial phase of me doing anything right.

SPEAKER_02

I'm like, go back and yeah, but then do you go back and check? Like, I'm not sure, I'm really not sure.

SPEAKER_01

I you're damn right I do, because I'm like, I'm not getting this butt kicked.

SPEAKER_02

I know where my bread is butter.

SPEAKER_01

You're damn right.
