Yesterday I was talking about this little boy who was fishing and ended up getting a piranha of all things. Yes. And that was one of those, oh my gosh, as a kid, I've always feared for some reason piranhas. And you had talked about, and you can catch this on the Scott Nalley on demand on our app. You had talked about, oh yeah, there used to be like some scene out of a movie where a horse like was in water and then got ate up by piranhas or devoured in 11 seconds. Here is another one that this I read this story this morning and I was like, that's another one I've always been afraid of. A 23-year-old Florida man is being praised after rescuing a woman who was trapped on a railroad crossing. I've also had this fear.

Oh my gosh, yes. But this is something from the beginning of time, it's put in your brain, and you're like, oh my God, what if I get stuck? Like, why would I get stuck on the railroad crossing?

Get your windows down before you sink, because the biggest problem that happens. All right, now this is a legit thing. Maybe I learned it in my volunteer firefighter training, maybe I learned it in the movies. You all decide.

No, I was thinking, okay, if I'm going in the water, the first thing I'm I'm not thinking, put my windows down. Right. So once I'm in the water, my my windows are electric. So isn't the electric going out? It's already gone out.

So if should you be sinking there before the electrical goes out, try to get the window down because here's what happens the pressure variance from inside to outside the car, you could not physically push that door open with the water. Now, if you had to wait for the car to fill up, a couple things are gonna happen. You're gonna go into panic mode. That is just gonna happen. Yes. And because the water's rising. Now, when the water gets all the way over your head, you could open the door, it's still very difficult to do. So that honestly is why you need to make sure the window's done. It sounds counterintuitive, but it's really does.

So her car, SUV, was stuck underneath the arm. I think she was doing exactly what we've all done. I can beat it.

Well, I mean, it is tough. Pressure situations like that are tough. But you know what? If I saved a life today by telling you to put your windows down when you careen into the water, thank you. Because that's gonna happen.
