First thing I said to Allie when I walked through the studio door was, it's Friday, right? It's Wednesday. Okay. Hey, uh, by the way, welcome back to school, Pennsylvania, for many of you.
SPEAKER_00Yay!
SPEAKER_01We are glad to have you back with us.
SPEAKER_00So that means you guys gotta get back in the habit of messaging us. Get on that app, the Wink 106 app, the Twin Tears Magic app, the My Radio Jams app. When was the last time you said good, everyone, to us?
SPEAKER_01That's right. You might have been on a later schedule or whatever. I I already see Kenny734 gave us a good morning, everyone. He kind of encapsulated everything. Good morning, sir. Uh Betty's in with uh, let's see. Oh, what did she say? At 5 40, my granddaughter's 13-year-old has uh uh let's see, his scream on TV. I don't like horror. Oh no. Oh, that's a wake-up watching scream at 5 45 in the morning.
SPEAKER_00Wow, and the fact that your granddaughter is already up.
SPEAKER_01But you can't wait for her to go back to school in New York.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because I know that they're they're at Spencer Van Atten.
SPEAKER_01Three weeks, Patty. Three weeks.
SPEAKER_00That's all you gotta do. You gotta just just power through it. It's weird because I saw so I always see this one house down the street from me that they've got like all the lights blasting. I assume they're probably getting up for and ready for work. Because you know, you have the same people who kind of are going to work around the same time. Figure the schedules, yeah. But it was it's an apartment house, and I'm just so glad I don't live in an apartment house anymore. Yeah. Because if you're the person living below her and she's blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
SPEAKER_01She's up and around, or he's up and around, you're like, oh my god. Yes, go to bed.
SPEAKER_00Go back to bed.
SPEAKER_01Love what David 4310 said. God, you guys have some good usernames all of a sudden. Uh, I'm curious. 4310, is that also your number? No. That's 2226. Well, all right, whatever. Uh, it's uh good, everyone. Happy Wang Out Wednesday rocks with Scott and Alley. That's the energy for you.
SPEAKER_00That's so sweet. Oh, and did you mention John 317? No, only Ileana.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there they are. Um, okay, so I'm gonna make an observation, and I'm not ready for it. I'm really having a hard time with the fact that it's so dark in the morning when we leave.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god. I was thinking the same thing. And as of last night, it started to get dark earlier. Yes. So, what did I do after work yesterday? Not much. It really wasn't much. It was just like unpacking from the weekend.
SPEAKER_01But you start feeling it. And and now I'm not gonna be like Rhonda, the meteorologist on ETM who's like doing a daily countdown of how much summer's left and how the time is changing. I'm like, Rhonda, let it go for a little bit, will you? Um but this mor now, the mornings though, that's where I really notice it. The evenings, yes. I mean, yeah, but uh, but the mornings, I'm like, No, which scares me about something. I'm I'm not gonna lie to you. Didn't you read to me from the Farmer's Almanac this winter, lots of heavy wet snow? Yes. It scares me because I feel like we're getting darker earlier. We're probably not, but it either my senses are picking it up, which makes me sit there and go, Oh, maybe we're gonna have a crap winter, which is an awful or awful early prediction for me. But I'm just saying, it's like all this goes through my mind.
SPEAKER_00I even smelled a different smell yesterday.
SPEAKER_01I didn't get that yet.
SPEAKER_00It wasn't the full-on fall smell, but um it was that just a waft of something is changing.
SPEAKER_01Could have been my trees coming down and all the sawdust. I mean, that's a possibility. It could have traveled to Corning.
SPEAKER_00But then even this morning.
SPEAKER_01Why not buwdust?
SPEAKER_00But then this morning, it was still just like really chilly and it felt like back to school. Yeah. Which I wasn't really ready for because I still had my air on, which I really didn't need to have my air on. But even yesterday, we got home from work. Oh, I know what I did. I mowed my grass. So I mowed my grass, I did all that kind of stuff, you know, getting back into the swing of things after being gone for the weekend. And Zach came over, he started to grill, and for some reason I said, It's a really beautiful night, but I need to sit in front of the TV right now and watch tires. So watch what? It's called Tires. Are you into racing shows now? No, it's about a uh so it's a comedian named Shangillis, it's his show, and it's about how they work at a Valley Forge auto. So it's that like a sitcom. Like a minor key. Yeah, it's very sitcommy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's funny.
SPEAKER_00It's a great show. It's hysterical. Actually, I was dozing.
SPEAKER_01Now let me ask, does it have the crappy, shaky camera thing going on? Because I know you love that back in the day.
SPEAKER_00No, it's it's not like the office, it's not like parks and rats.
SPEAKER_01Where they're trying to follow you around in real life and all you're doing is making me nauseous.
SPEAKER_00At least I no, I don't think so.
SPEAKER_01Okay, you've got to go back and check again.
SPEAKER_00The second we start watching it. Zoom in, zoom out, you're like, I was I don't get that way.
SPEAKER_01I don't get like but I also horribly distracting. And they did that, that was a huge thing in the middle of the 2000s.
SPEAKER_00Yes, we all watch The Office, Scott. We all know.
SPEAKER_01That's one of the prime reasons I couldn't.
SPEAKER_00I know, I know. You can't, you will if if anyone brings up The Office, Scott will bring this up for a good five-minute combo. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01Because the nausea, there's there's a huge section of people that were like thoroughly annoyed by that. Then there's the people that are like, we like good humor.
SPEAKER_00Yes, it's fantastic humor. So then I'm watching this show. I'm laughing from the second it starts, but then I start to doze off.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's typical.
SPEAKER_00Yes. It's after nine o'clock, it's about nine o'clock.
SPEAKER_01Now it's really dark.
SPEAKER_00Zach's laugh is waking me up. I'm like, all right, I just gotta go to bed.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you can knock that off. Stop being so damn jolly.
