I have something I have to tell you. What? I almost lost a pug yesterday. Actually, the day before yesterday.
SPEAKER_00What is it the one that peed on my leg? No, and that's not a pug trait.
SPEAKER_01That's just a fin thing. I don't understand why he's doing it. Nobody else did it. I'm a pug hater at this point. Nobody else did it. No.
SPEAKER_00Before you tell me that, really quick, I was just talking about that tire show. Thank you, John 317. Awesome show.
SPEAKER_01Oh, excellent. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Uh oh, I love this person's username. Junior. Junior L uh wait junior T111 says, good everyone. I love tires. Such a great show. And I love season two. Listen on Netflix? Yes. You're gonna love Junior. You're gonna love season three. Season three just started at midnight.
SPEAKER_01Man, they got three of these seasons out already. I didn't even know.
SPEAKER_00So good. Okay, now tell me about your stupid pug.
SPEAKER_01So, you know, Oreo, who's the only little girl. Well, besides Ginger, who's mom. Yeah. Um, so this is fun. So we I need a new screen door for the deck. I you you may have no, you didn't notice it because did you okay? So the bottom of the thing is blown out primarily because the dogs have blown it out.
SPEAKER_00They've scratched at it, right?
SPEAKER_01But it's kind of perfect because it's down really low, and it's not like it's a big bug draw down there, like the bugs like to be higher. So I'm like, oh, this is a perfect little dog door. Like, I'm why not just leave it like that? They can go in and out on the deck whenever they want, right? So that makes sense. So Tiffany found online, and we had been thinking about this, is uh switching out the door, but I don't want to just go get another door because long story short, here, I'm hoping very soon to be talking to you about a window company, and one of the things that'll be replaced is the sliding door. Yes, and uh which needs to be done, right? So why why bother getting a big expensive sliding door? Not the glass part, the screen part. Why even why even go to Lowe's and pick one up when I'm like, okay, they they have a dog door, this is perfect. So she finds online one of these things, and let me tell you, there are so many janky products out there. It's one of these screen doors that you can, it's velcro and it sticks all the way around the door frame and it's magnetic in the middle, so you can walk out. It's a screen door, but it walks out and then it reseals, right?
SPEAKER_00My friends Shelby and Lauren have this. So I'm hoping they have they have lots of dogs.
SPEAKER_01I'm hoping they have then I want the version they have because Tiffany found this version. She goes, hey, it's not a bad price, this and that. And I'm like, well, we should try this. This is great. Okay. So we put it up within eight hours. Somebody had already ripped one of the uh because their nails right now are like samurai swords. I don't know where my dog groomer is, God bless her, but I'm I'm like the hunt is on. I've texted her, haven't heard back. I'm like, come on. You can use mine. I love mine. I you do have a great one. I I actually took them there one time to when they were very little to get their nails done. Yeah. But I'm sorry, for eight dogs, it can't be $200. And that's with the tip. Oh, okay. So uh, you know what I'm saying? I wouldn't even know. Um, but uh, so at any rate, um, it it there was a little rip. So now the dogs, instead of going through what is the magnetic opening, so it'll really reseal, they start deciding to go through this little hole thinking, well, there it is, it's already open, right? Uh-huh. Either geniuses or idiots. I can't figure it out. Uh-huh. So at one point I noticed Frank got stuck coming back in where it like tied up underneath where his wiener is, and you know, I had to lift him up and let him out. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's gonna scratch.
SPEAKER_01Well, his balls are gone, so I don't know if it's gonna be as bad as not, right? So I left the, you know, get him out on free. So anyway, I'm down the hall doing something, and I hear this noise. And you every any dog owner knows the noise. It's not a normal bark or and it was sort of a bark, but it's almost like a yep. Yeah, but not in pain. More like a hello, I'm trying to tell you something.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, Junior has his what it's a it's a his call, if you will. Yeah, it's different.
SPEAKER_01It's it's weird. It's like there was not a distress call. It was not an anger call. It was not someone walking down the street. You just know this different. Everybody, every dog owner knows. So I'm like, well, what the hell's going on? And then it clicks in my head. I'm like, oh man, did somebody else get stuck in the uh now scratched out hole?
SPEAKER_00Which would really suck because have you ever put your finger through, and I'm sure you've touched like the edging of screen that's opened up. Yes.
SPEAKER_01It's pretty sharp. Well, in this case, this is all soft, so I wasn't worried about that, thankfully. But you're right, on the doors, the actual slidey doors, that's that. So anyway, I come out. Here is Oreo, and she must have done about 20 spins trying to undo herself. This thing is wrapped all the way to the top like a tightrope, and she's locked into the bottom, and it's her ass that's locked in there, and she can't go anywhere. And she's looking at me like, I don't know what happened. So I had to get her done. Anyway, in the meantime, this stupid new magnetic screen, let's tape it to the door. And Heather, if you're awake, she knows what I'm talking about because she helped me hang it on Sunday, I think. Yeah. Uh-huh. This thing, the the the glue on the tape didn't even hold. It comes with these tiny baby tacks where I'm trying, I was gonna put one in and I'm like, I'm gonna hammer both my fingers. These things are so you ever have to hammer something and it's too close, and you're like, well, I'm gonna have to endure the banging on the fingers. Yes. So uh nothing would work. I rip this thing off. Where did you get it from? Amazon. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Okay, because uh John 3717 says we bought one from Lowe's for our balcony and we love it.
SPEAKER_01Maybe I just gotta go with a higher quality one. We may have looked at it. Now, the theory behind it, excellent. I love the theory behind it. This thing just didn't work.
SPEAKER_00You know who else also cares about? Ollie's.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but that scares me. It might be janky. It might be the same level as whatever was found on Amazon for $12.99.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. You know? You might have to do the the Lowe's run instead. I think so.
SPEAKER_01I love the idea behind it, but I'm like, mm-mm, no, not this. And then seeing your dog literally wrapped up. If it was what scared me was if I was gone here and Tiffany was at work and that had happened, Oreo could have been there literally all day, losing circulation to her rear quarter. You know, and and and can't lose the little girl.
SPEAKER_00Right, exactly.
SPEAKER_01She's the she's the cool business.
SPEAKER_00Finn, the one that peed on me. Get rid of that one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he could he could go out the door. I'm more than sure on that.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Go get lost.
SPEAKER_01You should be honored that that happened, by the way. That that is totally his way of saying you are mine.
SPEAKER_00Uh disgusted. Disgusted by the biggest. But you are mine.
SPEAKER_01I mean, forever you will be Finns now.
SPEAKER_00No, I'm more disgusted by that.
SPEAKER_01Well, maybe till the next shower and that smells gone.
SPEAKER_00I'm more disgusted by that than my dog eating his own poop.
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's a tough stretch.
