No, apparently, apparently, his wife Maureen is the least sympathetic person to anything. Like if he gets sick, okay, grow up, you know. That person. So she goes, fine. You got bit by a bat, okay. You're gonna get a rabi shot. And had to get a rabies shot in his left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg? He said it was so painful.

Oh, they don't do the stomach anymore. It used to be like what, 10, 20 shots in the stomach? Oh my god. Oh, you never heard that? No, this really quick. Did rabies shots used to have to be administered in the stomach? It was either like 10 shots. This was a horror story. God, as a Gen Xer, I have got to tell you, this we we grew up in such a horrible time. We didn't have Google. You have to remember, Google didn't come along until much later. We didn't even have the the internet until we were already adults, right? So you have to remember the stories that were told to us, which were hand-me-downs from like the baby boomer boomers who were hand-me-downs from people that were in the war. So you gotta realize the stories we were told went to the extreme. Oh, it's 20 shots in the stomach and it's agonized.

You're actually not that far off. The older vaccine required a long series of 14 to 21 individual injections. Doctors use the abdomen because it has a large surface area to handle the high volume of fluid and daily rotation of needle sites. Uh, modern treatment, though, is the four doses.
