I have I have to uh hang on. We got Jeez God Almighty work, will ya? Get it together. We're gonna dry out today, which is good. Okay, so we w uh yesterday, I I don't know if you experienced this at all. It was an all-day rain out yesterday at my house once I got home. Oh my god. This wasn't really quite gonna expect to be that much rain.
SPEAKER_00We thought, oh no, this concert's gonna get rained out. Right? But then if you looked at the weather here yesterday, it rained all day yesterday, and then Canadagwa, all sunshine, it ended up being the best weather. Okay. Totally different. But for today, it's gonna be awesome. Russell Dickerson's tonight and tags.
SPEAKER_01Centertown social. Before that, I'll bet you they're gonna have the big doors open, those garage door things. Yes. Airing the place out so you can come in.
SPEAKER_00They've got tons of patio room over at Centertown Social. I pass Centertown every almost every single day of the week. Yeah. And they always have the umbrellas up, the lights are strung over there.
SPEAKER_01Oh, the vibes right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so five to seven before you go to Russell Dickerson on this freaking perfect night.
SPEAKER_01Oh, it's gonna be gorgeous for the show tonight.
SPEAKER_00Come over and have a drink because Scott and I will be pouring from five to seven.
SPEAKER_01Uh, one last text that I have to read. This is just kind of wrapping up. This stems back to I've never played solitaire. And I don't even know how to play solitaire. Nobody's ever taught me, which is kind of ironic because it's solitaire. Like that would sound like it's more than one person.
SPEAKER_00And I know you're not an only child, but you didn't really grow up with your brothers being around. I would figure your parents would teach you that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, uh, never, never once. It was just not a thing. Anyway, I come over to 0432. They said cornhole never played. Well, my friend, not this much. You don't have to worry. Because here in the Twin Tiers, we love to make Cornhole a giant fundraiser pretending to be a draw for hundreds of people. Cornhole drives me BS crazy. It's a backyard game that you play when you've had uh, I don't know, uh a family get together and you're just like, uh, you want to go play some cornhole? And yet we drill this thing in the twin tiers like it is the biggest draw. Come on out to the BFW, we're gonna raise money for whatever and play 10 boards of cornhole. Oh shoot me in the head.
SPEAKER_00Also, if you really, really, really want to play cornhole, I was at a bar restaurant up on Seneca last uh last weekend. It's called Boar's Nest. They have it's huge in there. So when you walk in, like the front is like restaurant, bar area. The back used to be a barn that they transferred into. There's a stage back there, there's tables back there. They have cornhole.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So you can go and play. You and I invented a game last football season, uh, which was a bit of a play off the lameness of cornhole. Do you remember we did our uh bowling game, our football bowling? What the hell did we call that?
SPEAKER_00I don't remember because I was trying to tell somebody this story the other day, and I was like, I don't know. It was between cornhole bowling and football. Bowling?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. It was cornhole. And we we came up with Cornfootball. Yeah, right. I don't remember the name of it. We came up with this and people loved it. Oh my god, remember when we played it at Oaks. We had the full 10 pins set up from a bowling alley. Thank you, Crystal Lanez. And uh we were throwing a football at it, trying to get strikes and stuff, and people loved it.
SPEAKER_00I'm hoping to do it again this year.
SPEAKER_01Far bet yeah, me too. Far better than uh cornhole. So you're really missing nothing. Anyway, moving on now.
SPEAKER_00Um, also, John 317, there's only one reason that I can't wait till Monday is because of your text.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00So you said that you were planning on smoking the chocolate chip cookies.
SPEAKER_01This dates back about three weeks.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so we have this listener who is the ultimate smoker.
SPEAKER_01Oh, he's so good. The pictures he sends me every weekend.
SPEAKER_00Food not marps.
SPEAKER_01And I don't know what he's doing hanging over the grill. He might be like a dad from the 70s, where like, baggage they're almost done, let me put a little bit of ash on this.
SPEAKER_00I don't know why. He's not a smoker. Um, I don't know why this came up, but we were talking about smoking chocolate chip cookies. So he said he's gonna try it this weekend. I can't wait to hear what this turns out to be.
SPEAKER_01By the way, thank you, Heather. We called it Falling. Football bowling. Oh, okay. We can't remember the name of our own our own things, but our audience remembers Falling. Uh-huh. Oh, and we thank you for that. Seriously.
SPEAKER_00Pony Joe said, Did you guys pick the winner for that social hangout, this the afterwork social that we're gonna be at tonight?
SPEAKER_01Joe, are you with us this week? First of all, I say in the beginning of the show, I'm not into this fantasy gaming. He goes, if you're into fantasy gaming, you should check this out. Uh Joe, come on.
SPEAKER_00Everyone listens at all different times.
SPEAKER_01Oh, no, everyone barely listens, apparently, today, Pony Joe.
SPEAKER_00We we picked corning phlebotomy. Was it Guthrie?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Okay, yeah, the hospital.
SPEAKER_00Okay, I couldn't remember. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Anyway, we chose the lot of bloodsuckers, if you will.
SPEAKER_00Hey! Oh, is that what it is? Yeah, but don't worry, because if you put your office in, we're gonna be doing one next month and you're still good to go.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well we'll reopen for anybody else that didn't get in this time. Exactly. Um, but yeah, you guys are all good. All right, in a minute, Allie's got what'd you do to him this time? Honest to God, what'd you do to Zach this time?
SPEAKER_00Oh, I love pranking Zach. It's my favorite thing.
SPEAKER_01Why tort? This man is decent to you. Oh, decently he treats me like a queen.
SPEAKER_00Then why are you messing with him? Because it's funny and fun. You can't leave well enough alone, and I'm No, that's what makes our relationship thrive. Oh so you say. So I pr I pranked him at the concert. Oh, tell me in a minute. I will.
