Morning. Good morning. I need a little help. I uh if you don't mind, I'm gonna start somewhere kinda uh it somebody will come up with something.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01So we know that it's a little cooler right now. The past couple days have been a little bit cooler. I I like to call this the preview of autumn. Uh-huh. So pre fall. Prefall, yeah. Uh which mind you, I'm still waiting for as soon as New York schools go back to school. That's when it'll be like, you know, 93 degrees and you know, sweltering to the point you're like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_00Sweating butt cracks.
SPEAKER_01Here nor there. So Winston remember Winston was the one that had the bad arm break that well, he's my $7,000 pug, right? Yes. So like people, when weather kind of is different, it can irritate where the uh break was. Oh, yes. So here's what I want to do without anybody mentioning CBD, because that's not I'm not going down that road, okay? Is there anything that we can give him, like a vitamin or a supplement that might help him a little bit? Because he's favoring it a touch. You know, it's the past couple days, he's been lifting it up and and doing that.
SPEAKER_00What about Dasiquin?
SPEAKER_01What's that?
SPEAKER_00Daxiquin is for their joints. That's what I give Junior for. Although this was a break, not was it a break like at the joint or was it?
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah. Oh yeah. This was this was uh oh, so if you do this, make um it take like your index and your thumb and and just put them close together but not together, and then there's a bone, take your other index finger. It's the bone that would stick down in there. Okay, and it would sp it's split in the part where your thumb and your finger were together, if that description helps anyone.
SPEAKER_00Uh yeah, it does. It does for sure. It's like basically like an upside-down Y.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so I think that Dasiquin might help. That's it a pill? Uh Junior's is a chew. Oh, okay. So actually, he takes it in two different forms. He has taken the chew before, which is great. I just put it right in his food. Yeah. And it's joint health because he was also limping just from being old. Oh, sure. And my vet suggested dasiquin. And then I also give it to him in a CBD form because yeah, it got you know, it like chills him out a little bit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And and that is that's uh like a little pump that I it's like liquid that I put on top of his food. It's like gravy, if you will.
SPEAKER_01Do you get that at the vet, or is that something you can get at like the uh supply of the tractors?
SPEAKER_00Uh I get mine at Pet Trax in South Corning, so that's where I get all of my food.
SPEAKER_01It's in a store somewhere. I see what you're saying. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, I the Dassaquin, the first time I ended up getting from Chewy. And he loved it. But then I, when I was at Pet Tracks, I was just talking to her about it, and she's like, Well, I've got this C BD thing, which I wanted because Junior and his sleeping wasn't great.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_00But C BD also makes him thirsty.
SPEAKER_01Being a oh, you would think being a puppy that I'd be like, yeah, C BD, knock him out. I don't want to go that route. I don't wanna, you know, it he's not of legal age yet, where we can uh, you know, allow him to have that. Junior, on the other hand, uh is very able to uh he's of legal age.
SPEAKER_00My dad takes CBD and freaking loves it. But I mean he takes it for his sleep.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And it has helped him so much. I think it's also helped that my dad has lost 80 pounds. And that's that, yeah, that'll do something. Yeah, that that'll help sleep a lot. That's like a combination. That's a whole different other story, though, because like my dad has a combination of Forster's disease where his his spine is fused. So he's like, he basically it's kind of similar to what Celine Dion has with that stiff person syndrome. By the way, did you see she's gonna be on dancing with the stars? No. I I was shocked to hear. It's like uh is it gonna look like a twig? I think the only dance not because she's skinny, but I'm just saying because like she can't move very well. I thought I was thinking, is the only dance she's gonna do with the robot? Yeah, because my dad has my dad can't turn his neck left or right. Yeah, he can only look straight. If he was to dance with somebody, he would fall.

SPEAKER_00How would he how is she gonna do this?
SPEAKER_01I don't know. Now suddenly we're like, wait a minute, we gotta see this. That is I heard that. All right. Anybody that has a suggestion, as well as what Allie just said, I'll take it. I don't know if that anybody has a wrap that they've used. Like sometimes, you know, I see here's the thing. Some dogs are like, yeah, put something on. It's a good wrap. Some some people are like, you know, oh, my dog will let me put something on them to wear. I don't know how that's gonna go. Like a lightning jacket? That or even like a sleeve. I I that's a possibility. Here's my thing. I don't want to go C B D. Okay. Uh, but I would take any sort of a supplement, something that might just, you know, ease it a little bit. Because here's the thing. I've even noticed since I was what, 15, 16 when I broke my wrist. Sometimes when we get like a big storm that's getting ready to come through, I'll feel a slight ache.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01And I know a lot of people do if they broke something. It sounds ridiculous, but no, but I've heard that as well.
SPEAKER_00I've never broken anything, so I can't relate to that.
SPEAKER_01Well, the day's young. Oh, find you a flight of stairs.
SPEAKER_00I hope I never do. No, don't. Although I did kind of want to back in the day just to have the cast. To have the cast.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you wanted all the signatures. I don't think anybody signed my cast.
