Before we really get started, Scott, I'm gonna start with this tribute just because they're just flooding in left and right, and I I just think that's the way to start because unless you live under a rock, Dolly Python died at the age of 80 yesterday. And interestingly enough, the day she died is the day they released the information, but I think that was the only way they could. Yeah. Because you can't keep this quiet.

But some people it's not. She, well, I look at like my parents are 69 years old, or 69, almost 69. And I just think now, now I don't think it's that old, but she also said, I ain't never gonna be old because I ain't got time to be old. I can't stop long enough to grow old, which I always thought was kind of who she was.

I don't know why I forgot, and then she performed it, and then because we all knew the Whitney version, which was really just you know handed to her from Dolly, but yeah, I I had forgotten that, but so many different levels. Um, I remember for my own family, uh both Gavin and Lydia got the books every month from the Imagination Library.

So speaking of, I have to read you the greatest text. So me and my cousin Kyle were going back and forth just like about regular day life. And then I said to him, Oh, and by the way, did you hear Dolly Parton died?

Because in every book, at the you know, the back of the the very back page of the book, it's a picture of her at the bottom. Yeah. And uh I I think I remember Lydia at one point going, Who's that? It's always uh it's one of those things, I think for you and me, we've always I don't know, we've had this, we have this on the show where we have this bizarre love affair with some of the uh some of the classics that just pop up, and Dolly is always one of them and always puts you in a good mood no matter what your situation is. You're like, you know, oh, if we if we whip out something, Dolly, we're just like we're laughing about it. We're like, this is great.

I love the old 70s Dolly. Like, this is my favorite Dolly era. Uh, in just a minute, I'm gonna play you a little bit of audio. It's Dolly Parton on Johnny Carson. Now, when she was on Johnny Carson, old TV host for anybody who doesn't know who he is, but uh when she was on there, she had a different look. She was she was much younger, but also just the fact that she played guitar on there, and you're gonna hear this in a second. She played guitar on the show and these long, long, long acrylic nails.
