Well, this this is the week of the unexpected, let me tell you. Good morning. How are you?
SPEAKER_00Good, good, good. What do you mean? What happened? Well, all right. Oh, Dolly. Well, okay, yeah, we got that.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Dolly I don't mean to make that sound like we're moving on, but no. Did you see her streams? This is no surprise. Her streams are up twelve hundred percent of all her music.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. I listened to her a little bit yesterday. So did I. Zach and I have uh a Dolly song that we have had way before she died. And it is my favorite Dolly song. You know, whenever that day that we get married, it's gonna be played like 19 times.
SPEAKER_02That's a bold statement. The day we get married, all of a sudden we're there.
SPEAKER_00Oh, eventually. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Okay. Very nice. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02Just I wasn't sure if anybody else caught that. It was very I mean. Well, all right. That just happened.
SPEAKER_00You know, when you know, you know. Okay, you know. Exactly. You know. Exactly. Do you know what I mean? Big things happening. And then are you gonna talk about the other death yesterday?
SPEAKER_02Well, uh, yes. Uh okay, so forget Tim Curry. Um weird looking dude. I'm gonna start right there.
SPEAKER_00Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_02No, he had he had some Mike, you're a looker. I well, weird looking dude right here, too. No, uh, but really think about it. When he was in Home Alone and all that, he had a very uh I d I don't even want to call it like an ogre look. Like he had that sunken eyeball look. He played the character perfect.
SPEAKER_00He well, isn't he British?
SPEAKER_02Yes. What does that make you have sunken eyebrow eyeballs?
SPEAKER_00No, just that European look. You know, somebody has this European look.
SPEAKER_02Well, I guess that you could put it like that, yeah.
SPEAKER_00And also he was hello, and Rocky Horror Picture Show. Come on.
SPEAKER_02I don't see the streams of that increasing 1200%.
SPEAKER_00Um, I can see it happening a lot, especially Clemens Center is doing Rocky Hore.
SPEAKER_02Yes, they are.
SPEAKER_00Actually, don't they have one of the original cast members coming? Magenta. Oh, that's pretty cool. I know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that is pretty cool.
SPEAKER_00And then he also was in clue.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_00Now here's the sad thing.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I know where you're going with this. I didn't know this until I saw it yesterday.
SPEAKER_00About how he had a stroke. Yeah. Yeah, he had a stroke.
SPEAKER_02He was paralyzed.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he had a stroke back in 2012, and he's been in a wheelchair since, and he's had people caring for him for a very long time.
SPEAKER_02Did not stop working, though. That was one of the things that was said yesterday when they were mentioning that he continued to do stuff.
SPEAKER_00Didn't he do like a lot of voice work and whatnot?
SPEAKER_02I think so. Yeah. He had a very distinctive voice, too. You know, not only the British accent, but it was very deep.
SPEAKER_00It was, you know, it was sweet transvestite. That's the one thing that stands out about his voice is that he sang sweet transvestite. That's very funny. I know.
SPEAKER_02Oh, here. All right. Well, then we'll just we'll get this taken care of here. Uh here.
SPEAKER_01Just a sweet transvestite. From transsexual transylvania. Just a sweet transvestida. Forgot this song. Transylvania. Wow. Um, come up to the lab and see what's on the slab. I see you shiver with anticipation. But maybe the rain! Listen to that. Is really to blame. So I'll remove the cause. But not the symptom.
SPEAKER_00All right, there you go. There's your tribute. I'm trying to find where is oh, here it is. October 29th, it's gonna be at the Clemens Center for one night only, right? Oh, yeah. Right before Halloween.
SPEAKER_02So speaking of Halloween, he was also the original Pennywise in it.
SPEAKER_00I know. I forgot about it. See, that's one of those other things. You know how yesterday you're like, oh, I forgot that Dolly did I Will Always Love You? I forgot that he was the original on that. Yeah, it was pretty wild. Oh, yeah, for sure. Oh my god. So it's weird. Our family text message has been, oh, did you hear this person die? Did you hear this person die? I know. And did you hear I thought we were gonna get another one yesterday?
SPEAKER_02Oh yes, you told me about it, and I'm like, oh no, here it comes.
SPEAKER_00Oh no, no, no. Are you talking about Barry Manilone? No, no, that's just my prediction. He is battling lung cancer. No, that's just my prediction. No, another one that I saw that on at first I thought this person did die, but then it wasn't the case. Bruce Willis. There was an article put out about Bruce Willis yesterday, how things are progressing with his dementia.
SPEAKER_02That unfortunately sort of happens that way from time to time. It really can it can I hate to use the term take off, but that's the best way to describe it.
SPEAKER_00His daughter released an article that was published in People magazine, and I think that's what got people really chattering about that.
SPEAKER_02The picture of him at their wedding was really a beautiful picture. It was wedding. Uh well, his daughter.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I didn't see that.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. They had it, they released it. Oh, you know what? It was the day you were out, it was one of the Mondays you were out. And it was right after she had gotten married. And uh who she married a guy that looks oddly like Tim Curry. Um is a European. I he's something. Uh, but whatever, to each his own. Uh but it was a very sweet picture. He was like doing that kind of he was doing what he could do, like you know, kind of giving her a half-hug. I don't think he could get much into it, but it was a very sweet picture.
SPEAKER_00How crazy is that, now that you say that, that you go to your daughter's wedding. So if you have this dementia, because I just read about this dementia yesterday because there was a stand-up comic that I watched two nights ago, and her mom has the same exact thing. Oh man. So some days you know your child and some days you don't. Imagine being at that wedding and he doesn't know his daughter. Like you're walking her down the aisle, but you don't know why.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Like that You You hope for a good day.
SPEAKER_00Yes. That's really all you can do. That's all you can do is hope for a good day. Exactly. That's what that stand-up comedian said, too. Like the one day she came into the hospital or wherever her mom's staying and and said, I'm your daughter. And she was like, Are you sure?
SPEAKER_02Last time I checked, yes. That's actually kind of funny. Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_00Oh, she makes a part of her bit, which is really great. Like, um, try again. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Try again.
