Let me catch you up here in case you missed anything in the early part of the show here. We found out that Allie had to break into her own car at four in the morning with the alarm going off.
SPEAKER_00Uh thank you to YouTube for teaching me how to break into my own car. What did we do before that? I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I I'm gonna have to look at your key, Fob. I think I I mean it's just popping it open and getting the battery. You could probably stop at Dollar General. Not today because you have to go to a wedding. Zach has laid down the rule going, we are leaving promptly at noon to not be late for this. Good luck.
SPEAKER_00And just so everybody knows, Zach lays down no rules in this relationship. None. This is like the first time that he said, I'm not tricking you with a different time this time. It literally means we have to be on the road by 12. Not 1220, not 1230.
SPEAKER_01That's right. Yes, sir. Yeah. I mean, this is panic speaking here. This is true panic.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, it was last night. I'm like, babe, I'm so excited. We're going to our first wedding together. We're gonna dance and drink, and we're gonna pack our suitcase together. He's like, you better not be late. And he didn't seem he didn't seem like super stoked. And I said, What's wrong with it?
SPEAKER_01No, because I understand in the guy's mind what's going on here. First of all, utter fear, because now he has to stand up to you in any way, shape, or form and be like, we have to be on the road at this time. I understand this. I get like this. And and the reason I get like this is um, so here's a good example. I will admit a flaw. Are you ready? I'm gonna admit a flaw. Coming right out here.
SPEAKER_00The first I've ever heard in 20 years.
SPEAKER_01That's right. So take note of it. So I get very testy with Tiffany.
SPEAKER_00Oh, what? And I can't even imagine. Here's I mean, I see what an angel you are here in the office every single day.
SPEAKER_01Here's why. Here's why I get testy. I'm gonna say it's Scott style, and then I'm gonna say the real facts, okay? Okay. Scott style might have a touch of snark in it, is why do you have to wait to the last minute to get things done for the birthday party you've been talking about for six months now and what you're gonna do? You're driving me BS crazy, okay? That's what's in my head. What comes out of my mouth are these subtle little hey, did you get that? Did you order that? Is that all set? Is that ready? This, that. So I totally understand.
SPEAKER_00It's actually good.
SPEAKER_01That's good that you're No, it's not because I drive her nuts. I drive her BS crazy.
SPEAKER_00But if you would have said it the first way, then I think that would have been an even bigger fight.
SPEAKER_01Well, yes, that's why that's in my head.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, I think that's good that you're filtering how you how you communicate. Oh. It is all in the communication.
SPEAKER_01Filter like a screen door. Uh, but here's the thing. I have learned though, and I have to give off a full credit to this. She always gets it done. And it's always it's like you. You always get there. I mean, a little late, but you always get there.
SPEAKER_00But at least my makeup looks good.
SPEAKER_01You're damn right. And it's always, it's always good. It's uh she never drops the ball. But I have a hard time with her timeline. This is very weird. It hurts me inside.
SPEAKER_00It hurts me, Allie. You work so differently at home than you do here.
SPEAKER_01So that's why Yeah, uh I really let that filter like a screen door happen here.
SPEAKER_00Oh, well, that too. But also not that you're like super last minute here, but Oh, yes, I was looking for a critical assessment of my okay.
SPEAKER_01Oh, we're moving forward.
SPEAKER_00So he so Zach.
SPEAKER_01So do you see where he's where he's he's feeling a bit of anxiousness. Anxiousness because he can't really project out to you. Why do I have to be this relationships therapist?
SPEAKER_00He said, You're really not a therapist. Because I I said, Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. And he he I said, You're not you're not acting really excited. He goes, I'll be good once we get there. But there's a lot of moving parts because he said, meaning you. Well, me. And he, you know, he's like, we gotta load the car, I gotta go to the bank, I gotta get the card, which I totally volunteered to do. But he, for some reason, it's his friend, so he's like, No, no, I'll I'll take care of it.
SPEAKER_01This is, I think more guys have this. We have more anxiety than we lead on to sharing with people.
SPEAKER_00But I can see it. Zach's face shows it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I think women are better at projecting anxiety and even explaining why you're anxious about something, what you're feeling, why you're feeling that way. You're better you're the better sex at that in most cases. Guys, we do this rando shutdown, and and every guy's a little different, but it affects us. It really does.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So that's what's going on there.
SPEAKER_00Now, I I want to just go over one quick text because just a few minutes ago, I was saying the least I don't know why I'm playing the drama music. The last question you should always ask in an interview is what are the next steps in the process? Love it. We ended up getting this text message from 36, wait, wait, 6796, saying a new one I learned is is there anything that happened in this interview or on my resume that would hinder me from getting this position? And I get that because then it forces you as the interviewer, Scott, you're interviewing me, forces you to be pretty truthful on the spot. I don't like this one.
SPEAKER_01And can I tell you why? I knew you wouldn't. No, well, number one, you know, Mr. Non-confrontational. It's funny, I have a filter like a screen door, but I don't like confrontation. What is that all about?
SPEAKER_00You like confrontation when you're confident about the confrontation.
SPEAKER_01That's yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. All right, so then it's a lot of confrontation.
SPEAKER_01To me, that statement's a negative. That's a that that you're you're forcing me to look for your negative. Good what you did, what you said, which is what are the next steps uh moving forward. Is the positive. That's the positive that is, and you're almost you're almost giving me a loving push, you know, like don't don't let this one drop. We're not gonna drop on this. All right. I want everyone to be ready. We are gonna do Nelly tickets coming up in a few minutes, but I have to I have to bring this gentleman that's on uh on hold with us on uh you have to hear what is happening. Speaking of a wedding, pray to God this doesn't happen at the wedding you're going to and you're gonna find out what happened to him next.
