We live in a time when many of God’s people aren’t open to being taught the Truths of Scriptures. Most of God’s people simply don’t want to have someone come along and teach them a better or different way! (I many times wonder if God's people even know that a biblical Truth of God does not come with multiple choice options?) Most of God’s people are content believing whatever it is they believe…regardless of the biblical facts put before them. I once gave a couple of pastors (who openly professed to love biblical Truth) some undisputable, simple to comprehend facts about what went on (in Acts chapter two) on the Day of Pentecost. And they didn’t want anything to do with that information because it totally exposed their silly, emotionally driven signs and wonders seeking journey that they've chosen to put themselves on! Isn’t that sad! Some absolute biblical Truth of God's written Word was placed before these two 'lovers of Truth', and they either ignored it, or rejected it! Sadly, that unteachable spirit is prevalent with many in the Church these days! For the most part…God’s people today (just like the Old Testament Believers of Jeremiah and Nehemiah’s days)…reject the Truths of God in order to do what seems (i.e. 'feels') right in their own eyes!
Isaiah 48:17-18 --- This is what the LORD says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. If only you had listened to My teachings! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea.
Oh well! My hands are clean!
