Brethren…God’s people need to ‘figure out’, or at a minimum be trying to ‘figure out’ the Truths of Scriptures (that are applicable for the Church!) We only ‘get’ one (earthly) life’ to do that. And none of us know how long our earthly life will last! I personally believe that once Believers ‘get to the other side’, there will no longer be any ‘opportunities’ to be more faithful, or to be more obedient or to do those things (for Yeshua Christ) that we wished we had done while we were still living on planet earth!
Our Heavenly Father and Yeshua Christ is a God of Truth. The meaning of the words in the Scriptures is important to the Lord! Just as the meaning (i.e. comprehension) of words put together in a Bible verse…or a Bible teaching are! I just don’t understand how so many people, whose lives were supernaturally changed by believing the loving, life-changing Words of the Gospel of Yeshua Christ…can so easily ‘ignore’, or worse yet, not want to learn, the rest of the life-changing Words of God found in the Scriptures! It’s bewildering how so many people can openly profess to ‘love the Lord’ with all their heart…and then ‘turn their backs’ on all those New Testament Church Epistle teachings, instructions, and commandments! It’s sad to ‘see’ so many of God’s children ignore what the Scriptures teach…to do what seems (to be) right in their own eyes! It’s 'doubly sad' to ‘see’ so many Believers choose to ‘go along with’ the beliefs of their ‘shepherds’ or church ‘buddies’…simply because they 'just want to get along’ with them! Brethren, fathers, mothers, moms, dads, sisters, brothers, children, relatives, friends, church leaders etc. are NOT even close to being more important than knowing and obeying the Truths of Scriptures! Yeshua Christ was blunt and hard when He told His Followers (i.e. Believers) that He did not come to bring peace but rather division to the home!
A lot more of God’s people need to get much more serious about learning and then obeying those Bible Truths (that are applicable for the Church Age!) Are even aware that nearly every place in the New Testament Church Epistles where the writers tell Believers TO DO THIS…or DON’T DO THAT (or even implies to DO THIS or DON’T DO that) it’s a commandment from the Lord? And to ignore those commandments is NOT ONLY sinful…it shows the Lord that you don’t really love Him…even though your lips may ‘say’ that you do! Yeshua Christ asked this question (of His Followers.) WHY do you bother calling Me your Lord…IF you are not going to do as I say?
John 14:21, 23-24 ---- (Yeshua Christ is speaking) Those Believers who accept My commandments and obey them are the ones who love Me. And because you show Me that you love Me thru your obedience to My Word, My Father will also love you. And those Believers who show Me that you love Me thru your obedience to My Word, I will also love you, and reveal Myself to each of you.” Yeshua replied, “All of you Believers who really love Me, will do what I say. And if you do as I say…My Father will also love you, and We will come and make Our home with each of you. 24 Now, any Believer who doesn’t love Me will not obey Me. And remember, My words are not My own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent Me.

And I added the implied thought in the sentences. So, you might be asking, “How do you know that Yeshua Christ is speaking about and to Believers Brother Bob’? The answer to that question is simple to figure out. Neither Yeshua Christ nor the Heavenly Father make their abode with (i.e. make a home in, come fellowship and reside in) Unbelievers…whether they obey God’s commandments or not!
