GOD’S TRUTHS! EVERYONE THINKS THEY ‘GOT EM’ FIGURED OUT!
You want to talk about spiritual confusion! Many Believers in the Church are absolutely confident that the Scriptures command them to ‘pursue’ signs and wonders. But many Believers also says the Bible clearly teaches that the signs and wonders show is over! Many Believers in the Church believe that the Scriptures command Believers to seek to speak in a tongue. But many others know that tongue gift is not for today’s Church!
Some Believers in the Church say that the Bible teaches that the Lord still ‘hands out’ the Holy Spirit’s Apostolic-like supernatural signs and wonders gift in every Church. But many other Believers ‘look out’ there church windows…or even inside the walls of their churches and say, “Nothing supernaturally miraculous like that going on anywhere outside my church windows…or even in my Church.” Some in the Church believe that the Bible teaches that drinking alcohol is a sin. But many other Believers know that the Bible does not teach that drinking alcohol is a sin! A lot of Believers are absolutely certain that the Bible teaches that all Believers will be raptured ‘outa here’ before the 7-year Tribulation. But then a lot of other Believers believe that the Bible teaches that those Pre-rapture Believers are absolutely wrong! A lot of Believers know that the New Testament Scriptures teach that the Old Testament practice of tithing is not for the Church Age. But a lot of Believers believe that the Bible teaches that those Believers are wrong! Then there are those Believers who adamantly ‘push’ a supposed biblical teaching that ‘encourages’ Believers to get more than one indwelling of the Holy Spirit. There are many more Believers who know that their believe is not only not biblical…it’s kind of weird and creepy! (And I agree with that!) How bout this one! There are actually quite a few Believers in the Church of the Living God who sincerely believe that the Bible teaches that no one chooses to get saved by believing in the Gospel of Christ! Yeah! You heard me right! These sincerely deceived, born-again Believers believe that the Bible clearly teaches that God ‘picks’ who He wants to go to heaven. These crazy Calvinists sincerely believe that the Bible teaches that Yahweh God ‘zaps’ (those He picks) with faith so that they can believe the Gospel! (Which means that He also ‘picks’ those who He wants to go to hell! (Doesn’t sound like a very loving God to me!) Fortunately, many in the Church realize this Calvinistic doctrine is not only unbiblical…it’s evil! (Brethren, this is why the Lord has called His people to contend for the TRUE faith of the Scriptures! Lord knows that there is a lot of biblical compromise and false teachings ‘floating around’ in His Church! And only those children of His who truly know their Scriptures can ‘defend against’ these bad doctrines!) I could go ON and ON and ON with Believer’s ‘opposing’ views of what they absolutely believe biblical Truth is!
