Dear Brothers and Sister in and for Christ,

The entire message about this topic of God’s goodness being conditional is in the podcast. However, I am ‘limited’ on how much space I have for introductory words on my podcast sight server so I only have part of that message here.  I will post the entirety of this Bartimaeus written response on Facebook

This started out as a ‘simple’ Bartimaeus response posting. But then the Lord ‘told me’ that He had much more for me to say to His people. So Friday night, I was literally up most of the night and into the wee hours of the morning…typing out (as fast as I could) words or thoughts that I believe the Spirit of the Living God gave me. All of the stuff that you’re about to read ‘came to me’ in a couple hours. There’s no plagiarism in these words. The words in this message didn’t come from some past sermons or messages that I never get a chance to share with God’s people.

BARTIMAEUS REBUTTAL PART
I believe that Yeshua Christ didn’t heal Bartimaeus just because our Heavenly Father is good. Brethren, our Heavenly Father is always good! Yahweh is good even when He doesn’t heal or rescue His children from serious troubles or persecutions! (Sad thing is, emotionally driven Believers usually only see the ‘goodness’ of our Father or His Son (at work) when they ‘see’ (i.e. touch or feel) God healing or feeding His people! Most experiential living Believers only ‘see’ the goodness of Yahweh and Yeshua when they ‘see’ them doing something that looks like a ‘kind’ or ‘caring’ act! Brethren, the goodness of Yahweh is a permanent attribute of His! The goodness of Yahweh was there when Adam and Eve ‘sinned their way out of paradise’! The goodness of Yahweh was there for 120 years as Noah built that Ark. The goodness of Yahweh was there when all those people died in the flood waters. The goodness of Yahweh was there with Joseph when he was thrown into prison for doing the right thing…and when John the Baptist had His head chopped off. The goodness of Yahweh was right there while Herod had all those innocent two-year old (and younger) baby boys murdered. Our Heavenly Father’s goodness was right there when we read about the times in the Book of Acts when those first Believers were either persecuted or died for the faith. Our Father’s goodness was there every time a child of His was martyred by being burnt alive on a stake! The goodness of a loving Father is right there when His children die of cancer or are killed by a drunk driver. The goodness of Yahweh was even there as He watched His only Son suffer and die at Calvary!  The GOODNESS of God was being glorified regardless of the scenarios that I just mentioned above (and by hundreds of more like them that I didn’t mention) because thru scenarios like these…Yahweh is or was either glorified by the fulfilment of a His prophetic words…or by a display of his power, majesty, and authority!

So, pastor T, don’t just ‘see’ the goodness of Yahweh in something, that on the surface, seems to turn out for the betterment of a person. Psalms 116:15 ----Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His godly ones. (This verse is a good example to use when teaching Believers that there’s more (spiritual) ‘depth’ (i.e. meanings) (to some Bible verses) than what we simply read and comprehend intellectually.)  The Scriptures tell us that it was Bartimaeus’ faith that got him healed. Bartimaeus wasn’t healed in a spiritual vacuum!
Matthew 13:57-58 ---- But Yeshua said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.”  And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.
Psalms 31:19 --- How great is Your goodness. Which You have stored up for those who fear You. Which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You!
Psalms 118:4 ---- Oh let those who fear Yahweh say, “His goodness is everlasting.”
