Called to Action: A School Sisters of Notre Dame Central Pacific Podcast
The School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND) have supported education and enrichment since its founding in 1833. To continue the tradition of education and enrichment, SSND Central Pacific Province has created a podcast, Called to Action, where we feature sisters, staff, SSND ministry leaders and prominent women in our communities who are leading efforts to change the world within five focus areas: Care of Creation, Immigration and Refugees, Human Trafficking, Gospel Peace and Nonviolence and Racial Justice. A new episode is released every other week!

Episode 7
On Called to Action Season 5, Episode 7: Animal Trafficking Sister Annette and Sister Kay Fernholz join us to explore trafficking as we expand awareness to the fair treatment of livestock to understand what animals are trafficked to produce various products that we may use but have never considered how they are made. Animal trafficking awareness also relates to the SSND commitment to Laudato Si'. Please join us in a conversation about how we can be more aware of what we consume and how it affects all of creation.
