The USDA released its World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates on Sept. 12. Here are the key takeaways for beef cattle. Beef production for 2025 has been reduced The forecast for red meat production was lowered from the previous month. Beef production is down due to reduced steer and heifer slaughter and lower cow slaughter in Q3 & Q4.
