The Word Café Podcast with Amax
My unique message to the world is the power behind the words of our mouths. We have made light of it but cannot escape the fruits thereof. For me, words are the unit of creation, the building block on which our existence evolves. This podcast is for everyone who wants to better their living by using words and applying themselves wisely. I will be using the storytelling style fused with imaginative nuances to transport the listener to that place, where possibilities are not luxuries but everyday experiences; movie in voice.
This podcast will emphasize the power of routine, and what you repeatedly do, you most likely build capacity and expertise for what you repeatedly do. My podcast will help the listener learn how to practice success because the same amount of time you use in complaining is the same you can use to plant, build, prune, etc. I intend to draw the listener's attention to the power of their words.

S1 Ep. 45 My Scare are my Birthmarks, A story of Communion and Expressions
One of the most fascinating phenomena about our existence is the ability to transmit our emotions via the medium of writing and those who come in contact with text can actually relate with the writer on so many levels. This goes to reinforce the power of communing as described by Pierre Teillard de Chardin "There is almost a sensual longing for communion with others who have a large vision. The immense fulfillment of the friendship between those engaged in furthering the evolution of consciousness has a quality impossible to describe."
On this episode of the word café we will be sharing the space with Orlando Taylor, who has come to embrace the power of communing via the art of writing.
Orlando Taylor was born in St. Louis, MO., growing up, he was fascinated with writing, science, reading, and this interest led to some early exposure to reading comic books, poetry, literature. Later, Orlando developed a passion for ideas that could be transformed into scripts for TV and film. In My Scars Are My Birthmark, Orlando explores the issues one might face in life and those common to the African American community.
These are the loves, relationships, and the fight to have a life of meaning in a country that wants to erase you. He writes in the hopes of informing his readers about black-experience like James Baldwin or Richard Wright and examines how these experiences collide as Octavia E. Butler.
He has been featured in several anthologies of poetry. He can also be reached on the website www.kuumbaconcepts.com - otaylor@kuumbaconcepts.com
