Fresh off the release of her highly anticipated sophomore EP, Desert Darling, Brooke discusses the inspiration behind the six-song project, which explores the highs and lows of young love, heartbreak, self-discovery, and personal growth. Released through Spirit Music and 2Mix Music, the EP showcases her signature blend of emotionally honest songwriting, gritty vocals, and authentic country storytelling.
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Brooke shares how one unforgettable live concert inspired her to pursue music, leading her to form her first band as a teenager before making the move to Nashville. She opens up about writing every song on Desert Darling, recording the project alongside her longtime touring band, and why capturing the energy of her live performances was so important.
During this exclusive conversation, Brooke also talks about life on the road, her songwriting process, and opening for major artists including Willie Nelson, NEEDTOBREATHE, Lukas Nelson, Gavin DeGraw, Wade Bowen, Ty Myers, and Redferrin.
