Being a Mindfulness practitioner…, and before I open with the quote of this day, I invite you to join me in a mindfulness affirmation… Ready…. First…, take a deep breath with me…. That felt good, right? Now…, repeat after me…, It is Now O’ Clock…. I am… I am here … I am here now… I am open to be inspired.
Now…, let’s take another deep breath.
Of course…, you can affirm your mindfulness and do the breathing exercise on your own or with someone else, and I strongly recommend you do. Make it at least a twice daily routine. But if you also want to do it with me…, let’s do it.
I believe this mindfulness affirmation will help tune your sense of presence…, your mindful sense of presence in the only occasion that matters in your life…Now.

Today’s quote is titled: ANY CRITIQUE
Any critique, positive or negative, about what I say or do will always be a welcome contribution to the unfinished manuscript of the journey that is, my life. I would have it no other way. Thanx, unquote.
Here is another lesson in awareness. From the time we were born and to this moment, there has always been something said about what we say and do.
Now, this never stops, right? It is how the critics use their two cents. They just have to say something negative or condescending.
Listen, if you want to find fault in anything anyone says or does, you can find it. But it takes less time and energy to find what is good, and what is right; something positive to say, or, to say nothing at all.
When someone uses their time and energy criticizing something I said or have done, I find it special, but in a weird way.
Here is why. First, Time is priceless, and Energy is an increasingly diminishing and finite resource. That someone would give so much of themselves to me, is indeed special, and adds to my life’s unfinished manuscript.
Of course, this is not to say that the many, many positive things said about me, the things I say and do, are not special. No, indeed they are. Absolutely! They speak for themselves as they reflect how those who speak of me, have been inspired. They reside as kind, appreciative, positive, loving, and inspirational words, sentences, paragraphs, and chapters contained in the unfinished manuscript of my life.
The negative and condescending voices are kept as fragments in my hard drive. It is just the way it is.
Once a word leaves your lips you can never take it back. Just the same, if you were to apologize for saying something offensive or demeaning, those words as well, can never be taken back.
The good thing though, is that it would be the last words of record. It would be the last thing you said about whatever it was.
When talking about the past, the last event is always the closest to the present; the only time we live.
As it is in life, the positives and the negatives are stored in the same home, the same life, my life, and the story that it is. Hopefully, it would serve as a loving and inspirational one. I hope it has been, so far.
