Setting Boundaries and Expectations for a Happier Wedding Planning Experience with Margaux Fraise
Apr 05, 2021 Season 1 Episode 7
Deanna Nash

This week on the Leap Lifestyle Podcast, we're talking with wedding planner and wedding industry educator Margaux Fraise about creating boundaries and setting expectations around your wedding.

Even if you're just a few days into being engaged, you've probably already witnessed the heightened emotions that accompany the wedding planning process. But how do you keep those under control so that you can enjoy being engaged and planning your wedding? Creating  boundaries and setting expectations are among the most effective strategies to employ with everyone who will be a part of your wedding. That includes parents, siblings, extended family and wedding party.

But before you can claim those boundaries, you must first get on the same page as a couple to agree on what those boundaries are. As a united front, you'll be setting yourself up for a much happier (and productive) strategy to plan the most important day of your lives.

Margaux Fraise, Owner and Creative Director of Harmony Creative Studio, and a Stage IV cancer survivor, knows a thing or two about boundaries, and this week's episode is a must-listen!

You can find Margaux on Instagram @harmonycreative, and be sure to download her First Steps worksheet which walks you through the steps to take once you're engaged.
