A Letter to My Prodigal Daughter

This episode… is different. It’s not an interview. It’s not advice. It’s a letter — from a mother’s heart to her prodigal daughter. There’s a pain that doesn’t fade… when your child walks away. My youngest daughter — she was home when her brother, Josiah, was murdered. Since that day, she’s been silent… distant. And now, at 21, she’s out in the world… living… but not talking to me.

I pray for her every single day, not out of control, but out of love.

Out of hope that God will heal what time and silence have broken.

The Bible says in Luke 15:20, “While he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion.”

That’s my prayer — that one day, love will bring her home.
