"She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us)." Matthew 1:21-23
God with us. Many times we are faced with unexpected situations in life we never think we'd face. Mary and Joseph's lives were changed when they were chosen to be the parents of the Son of God, Jesus. What did they feel? What did they think?
Through the hardest and most unknown seasons, through the darkness moments, God is with us. He is Immanuel, the one who never has left nor will abandon us in the journey.
Love came down to dwell among us. To walk among us. To be Immanuel—God with us.
