Marriage is a complex gift. Whether you've been married or you're just hopeful for it one day, the question still comes to mind: "How do I have a thriving marriage?"
What does that mean? Does it mean sticking it out for the long haul? Does it mean making sure that marriage is full of chemistry or happiness?
So what does the Bible have to say about marriage—this complex, beautiful gift? The Apostle Paul talks about the role of husbands and wives in Ephesians 5 and it answers some of these difficult questions.
Marriage is much more than having a connection or attraction to someone. Marriage, as scripture puts it, is a "mystery" that is profound. Marriage is a sign-post that points back to our Savior, Jesus and His bride, the Church.
