Shortcuts – we all love them.
Whether it's finding a quicker route to work, an easier way to cook a meal, we look for ways to cut down on the effort or time it takes to obtain something in any and all ways possible.
One area we often look for a shortcut in is community. Sometimes, we'd rather not have to labor through the effort of building relationships and rather not have to bear the weight of others burdens—nor cast ours on others.
But community is essential in our lives and it will require Christ-saturated perseverance. Community calls us to step into the lives of others and commit to walk the journey of life together. Community requires us to not give up when all we want to do is just that.
