LOTL Media - Queer Conversation
LOTL Media is the evolution of 35 years of lesbian publishing into a modern platform for women who shape the world.
Through our flagship series Queer Conversation, we speak with bold thinkers, community builders, survivors, creators, and system‑changers, women whose lives and work move culture forward.
Our lens is queer, our focus is impact.
We highlight women who live authentically, challenge norms, and contribute to social, political, and cultural change.
New conversations regularly.

Cancer Council has released Australia’s first dedicated cancer resource for LGBTQI+ communities — a landmark publication designed to improve support, visibility, and health outcomes for queer people affected by cancer.
In this Queer Conversation, LOTL speaks with Professor Jane Ussher and advocate Julie McCrossin about why this resource matters, the gaps it addresses, and how inclusive cancer care can transform the experiences of LGBTQI+ patients and their families. They discuss the research behind the booklet, the lived realities of LGBTQI+ people navigating cancer systems, and the urgent need for culturally safe, affirming care.
The booklet is available at: cancercouncil.com.au/lgbtqi
