Dr. Ian Walden is a Professor of Information and Communications Law at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University London. Dr. Walden served as a Member of the European Commission’s Multi-Stakeholder Expert Group tasked with supporting the application of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Additionally, he works as Of Counsel at Baker McKenzie.
Mr. Jon Baines is a senior Data Protection Specialist at Mishcon de Reya and serves as the Chairperson at NADPO (The UK national association for Data Protection and FOI Officers). With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Baines has been advising major organisations on UK and other international data protection laws.
