2 Corinthians 8 challenges us to examine the connection between our treasure and our heart. It reminds us that generosity is a core part of a disciple's DNA. The Macedonian church, whose generosity wasn't driven by abundance, but by the grace they'd received, prompts us to consider: what drives our own generosity? Is it our circumstances, or the transformative power of God's grace? Scripture encourages us to see that generosity isn't about mathematics, but about aligning our hearts with God's.
