Jesus' teachings in Matthew 6:1-18 remind us that our actions should stem from a pure heart, not from a desire for recognition. They challenge us to shift our focus from impressing others to pleasing God, cultivating a more intimate relationship with Him. Are we applying these teachings in our personal lives? Are we willing to challenge those we disciple in these areas? By aligning our motives with God's will, we open ourselves to a deeper journey of faith.
