Titus chapter 3 confronts us with an uncomfortable truth: we live in a world that celebrates conflict, yet Christ calls us to live lives marked by kindness, gentleness, and accountability. The same grace that saved us from our former lives of disobedience, hate, and conflict now empowers us to live differently. Because Christ was first kind to us when we were unworthy, we are both capable (through the work of the Holy Spirit in us) and obligated to extend that same kindness to others.
