My 13 year self has a few words to say...
Jump into my time machine as I open the portal to 1987 and examine how codependency found its way into my belief system. I get real vulnerable in this one and share some of my teenage poetry and talk about the impactful events that have shaped my self worth and created a distorted worldview that I am still healing from.
If you struggle with codependency and a need to please because you think that you have to perform to get love, this is a good episode to listen to. Please know that whatever you are going through, whatever has happened to make you believe that you are unworthy of love and beautiful things, YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
