Since the start of the current four-year term for Victorian councils,  more than 40 arbiter and Councillor Conduct Panel reports have been published, with more still to come.

What conclusions can we draw from those reports about the effectiveness of the conduct framework in the state?

Former Hobsons Bay mayor and councillor Sandra Wilson takes a keen interest in councillor conduct matters.

She has conducted a review of the published reports, and joins Chris Eddy on Roundup Unfiltered to share her observations, along with thoughts on how the system can be improved in terms of timeliness, consistency and effectiveness.
