Joining Chris Eddy on a special edition of the Local Government News Roundup is  James Roncon, the General Manager of Armidale Regional Council in NSW.

James has for the past four years led a major culture change initiative at the council with remarkable results by all accounts.

So it came as a surprise recently when he announced that he was moving on and would not see out his contract or seek a new term with the council.

James talks to Chris about his local government journey to date, his people-focussed leadership approach, and what his next career move might be.

On Tuesday, 22 July the VLGA and LGIU will host the next in its series of Global Executive Live Panels for 2025.
