What talented people we found behind the scenes of the running of a point to point! The natural selling skills of the young with their race cards, commentators who learn on the job, long serving success in the sponsorship department, the art of keeping control of jockeys at the start of the race, the weighing of the 'accoutrements' and the fun to be had in the farmers' bar... luckily Carly is in charge as clerk of the course.
