Our 'Diversity within Cyber' community came together for the first webinar as part of our brand-new Broadgate Social series exploring the cybersecurity space, led by the amazing Ashleigh-Jean (AJ) Phipps. We heard from thought leaders about their experiences in getting into cybersecurity, through traditional and non-traditional routes, and explored blockages in reaching senior positions, particularly for diverse groups.
We delved into the roadblocks faced by diversity groups in cybersecurity as well as where you can seek support in getting into the industry from non-traditional routes. Our panel reiterated the challenges in reaching leadership and how businesses can do more to push people forward.
