Broadgate’s Darren Hogan welcomes fintech leader and financial services powerhouse Sinead Halhed-Moran Walsh to the podcast for a wide-ranging conversation on careers, leadership and the future of finance.
Sinead is a fintech INED and Chair who previously represented multiple Irish fintech firms, leading the Irish branch of a trade body. Before that, she led teams in the legal, compliance and risk divisions of a global unicorn fintech, following a few years in banking. She is a qualified barrister, with numerous additional compliance, risk and legal qualifications, as well as a qualified executive, team, life and wellbeing coach.
She is passionate about helpful Irish fintech communities. She leads Financial InnovateHER with her team, a Group helping women network, learn and develop. She co-founded the Irish Fintech INED Network (IFIN) in 2025. She also founded the Fintech Intelligence Taskforce (FIT) with the FIU in 2021, acting as Secretary until 2025.
Sinead represents the sector with government and regulators, advocating for a fair risk-based approach to supervision, while also advocating for positive cultural, diversity and wellbeing approaches.
