Authors Tania Blackmore and Georgina Parker discuss the reasons behind devoting all their time and energy into writing ‘Community Palliative Care and COVID-19’, a subject close to both their hearts. As well as being the author of the highly acclaimed text ‘Palliative and End of Life Care for Paramedics’, Tania is the Senior Lecturer in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Greenwich, specialising in palliative and end of life care, and Georgina works for Heart of Kent Hospice as the Lead Consultant in Palliative Medicine.
