The Inheritance Project
The Inheritance Project looks to the past to find lessons for the future. Each episode I talk to a leader of a previous generation to better understand the struggles and causes they devoted their lives to. Hoping to better understand all that has been passed down to us.

The is the first of three episodes about alternative energy visionary John Schaeffer. In the '80's John became the first to market and sell commercial solar panels in the U.S., becoming the largest supplier of alternative energy in the world. In episode 1 we dive in to his activist roots at UC Berkeley in '67 that brought him 'back to the land' and ultimately inspired the creation of his company Real Goods.
