Eps. 013 - Thriving While Waiting

We’re in a culture that says that we can have everything now. The reality is when we go after what we want now we can sometimes sacrifice for what we want most.  

God’s plans are so much higher than our plans. He knows the intricate desires of our heart and in order to fulfill those desires, there’s a process of refinement that we need to go through.

When we follow the innate desires to follow the things we want now, we often make decisions we regret later and we begin to live an instant gratification lifestyle.

In this, we can miss out on God’s best for us because we have a now mentality. That’s why learning the quality of patience and trusting God in the waiting period is so important. 

James 1:4 says, “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

You will get to enjoy the fruits of your labor and experience the freedom that is released with the blessing, the reward for your work, and your wait.

You want to be entrusted with the blessing and not enslaved to it!
