I was having breakfast and noticed an aging couple. Overweight.  Miserable. Tired. Though loyal to each other after years of companionship. The romantic ideation of a partnership. However, if the man DOESN’T READ, KEPT HIS HEAD DOWN, HAD NO AMBITION, that’s disrespectful to the faith his wife invested in him. In my opinion, women are the gatekeepers to the universe. They bring life into our corporal world. A direct reaction from the universe if you do stupid anti-survivalist shit. However, modern people are all about arbitrage. Unwilling to help build from the ground level. Only wanting to onboard after the proof of concept is actualized. They’re often overstimulated and it’s incredibly difficult to instill a sense of wonder after a certain age and experiences. Here lies the issue with modern dating. A lack of wonder and investment. If people are transitory and leave at the first sign of inconvenience, how can they expect to learn who someone is, or the potential of who they could be?

This golden nugget also delves into intergenerational observations on work ethic, relationship dynamics, and values.

First, I'm gonna wait mo, guys. I was having breakfast this morning and I noticed a uh an aging couple. They were very tired, and you could tell that they were together for a long time. However, there's that romantic ideation of till death do its part, you know, which is cute. Now, I'll unpack. The man, you know, he was a laborer, and you could tell he's somebody who doesn't invest in you know personal development or you know, into a business and whatnot. They just looked like they're in survival. And God bless the woman for her investment in him. That's beautiful, you know. However, if somebody invests in you, then you have an obligation. If you're not a POS, then you want to improve yourself and reward their loyalty, right? Now, some dynamics I've noticed with intergenerations, baby boomers and older, they were more obligation-based, hard work and legacy. And millennials, Gen Z, Alpha, etc., they're more individualistic, arbitrage-minded, and frankly more selfish. And on that, if you're ambitious, you know, with whatever generation, then you have to reward people's loyalty into you and reciprocate that, right? Otherwise, you're just a taker and it's just it's not a good dynamic. Uh, going back to the different intergenerational archetypes, uh, if you're more arbitrage-minded, you're building something, you know, or this is across any generation, you're building something, then people they want to see you win. So that means that you have to bust your ass with your business, with your ventures, with your job, or whatever else, get that promotion, get whatever you're doing. And you know, make sure that you can create a reality for your partner, partners, whatever your dynamic is. Uh, and it does not it's not gender exclusive. Masculine and feminine polarity can be any gender. It's 2026, folks. Uh but your their investment in you must also be reciprocated where you are going to succeed against all odds, even if you're not there quite yet. You know, their investment in you should give you that motivation and not just, you know, smoke weed all day and do stupid shit, right? So, in my perspective, women are the gatekeepers to reality, they bring the corporeal into the 3D world, into our reality. Hence, children, right? And they call you out on the stupid shit that you do, right? If you're, you know, you have an anti-survival vice or whatever else, they say, hey, stop it. I want you to be better, or I want you to go back to school, get your certifications, do this stuff so you can get a better job or better opportunities, right? Yeah, it's because they invest in you. You know, so if you have a business, then you gotta you know you have to bust your ass and make it happen, split test everything to make sure that they, you know, their investment was worth it. Now, previous generations, they just had that blanket statement of till death do his part. And again, that woman stuck with the man, she could have probably done better with other people who would actually have applied themselves, right? And that's fair. Now, younger folks, they have more of a transitory relationship. So when they meet people, they're not really open to getting to know them. I mean, there's just so there's this uh bel this false belief of all these options. Maybe it's not false, depending on where you live, if you live in a big city or if you're on dating apps and whatnot, or just networking. Now, the fallacy of unlimited options, it causes people to be in analysis paralysis, right? And they're not sure which step to take, right? Which option to choose. And you know, that's one of the issues with modern dating right now. Though, if somebody invests in you, at least do your part, right? Do your part, let them see it. But don't be mad at the game. Understand, hey, you know, if you have the self-awareness, maybe I gotta lose some weight, maybe I gotta make some more money, maybe I gotta make some more things happen, uh, split test because other systems are not working, improve your systems. That's if you're a business owner. Uh, or just, you know, work your job, you know, uh, you know, pass your performance reviews, get your uh get your promotions and go from there, you know. Um or go to therapy and improve yourself as a being overall, right? So again, reward people's investment in you, right? So thanks for tuning into the Candid Thoughts Podcast.
