I'm your host, shrikant, and I'm thrilled to be with you on this journey of inspiration. You on this journey of inspiration. Hey, my dear listeners, welcome back for one last time in 2024. What a year it has been. An year filled with a lot of learning, filled with a lot of wonderful, fun conversations here on Inspire Someone Today. Let me walk you through the year that has been. We released 30 episodes that resonated with our listeners around the world, achieved a total of 14,000 downloads across all the platforms, and the global reach for Inspire Someone Today was in 66 plus countries. This year was not just about episodes, but also about community building. We hosted our first ever Inspire Someone Today meetups. We had meetups in Bangalore and in Delhi and hoping to have more of those in the coming years across the globe. We also had learning events bringing together listeners to learn together to build the community around us. Another big milestone the launching of Inspire Someone Today book. That went live on December the 27th. If you have not had a look at it, please watch out for the Inspire Someone Today book available on all Amazon platforms across the globe. A heartfelt project that captures the wisdom from 100 plus conversations that we have had over the years. Thank you for each and all of us, for being part of that journey, to converting that journey into a book that each and all of us can read through and make 2025 really impactful. Moving on, what was some of the key themes that we focused in 2024? We had an array of themes focusing on leadership, well-being, sustainability, mindsets and community building.

Some of the standout episodes that topped the charts in 2024 was episode 106. Meera Swaroop was our guest, featuring Meera Swaroop on the episode the Art of Communication. Episode 115, deepak Swaroop the calling of a teacher how he transformed himself from a flourishing career in the big four to becoming a teacher spending time with the tiny tots and young adults. His story is one of passion and one of digging deep into what one would want to kind of do. And the third of the top episodes of 2024 was Dr Mohit Gupta. What a story of resilience and turnaround. Dr Mohit Gupta had Change your, of resilience and turnaround. Dr Mohit Gupta had Change your thoughts, change your destiny. That's the line that Mohit had carved out. If you have not given a listen to any of these episodes, I urge you to go back, have a look at some of these episodes.

Like we always do in our Power of Three segment, we ask an array of questions for our guests. One such question is the guest recommendation in terms of books or podcasts, and I have captured some of the notable book recommendations that some of our guests made in the form of top five book recommendations for 2024. Going in at number one is the art of happiness by the Dalai Lama. The next one on the list, the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. The third book recommendation given by our guest was the Celestine Prophecy, written by James Redfield. Harish Bijur, the noted brand strategist, was on the show. He shared this particular book recommendation, which is called as the Future Shock by Alvin Toffler. Called as the future shock by alvin toffler. And last but not the least of the top five book recommendation, is fearless organizations by amy edwinson. So those are the book recommendations if you are looking for some year-end reading, definitely something for you to look for.

Speaker 1:

Looking ahead, what's in store for inspire someone today, today, in 2025? A lot of it. We will continue to find and feature inspiring guests who bring fresh perspectives and valuable insights. We would definitely, as we have been doing in the past, bring in some bonus episodes, which offers a deep dive into trending topics with actionable takeaways, just like the themes that we had in 24 around sustainability from Lorana Davies, joshua Spodak, wellness by Dr Marcus, that resonated with many of you. In 2024, we'll explore similar themes around personal growth, career transformation and adaptability. One of the ideas that is brewing on my mind is to do a LinkedIn live session, again contemplating at this point of time more on it in order to bring in more real-time conversations, have all of you listeners to have like Q&A with our guests and make it more engaging, make it a little more interactive. That's something in the horizon. Building stronger connections with our community through listener spotlights hoping to feature some listener stories, lessons from audience members. Again, any suggestions, recommendations to make inspire someone today more engaging, more helping. Feel free to let me know.

Do me a favor pass on inspire someone today for somebody in your network. Get them a dose of creating ripples of inspiration. So as we move on. As we wrap up 2024, what do I have as a call for action for each one of you? It starts, it is a valley cry. It is termed as the three B's Be curious. Let's all keep learning, asking curious questions. So be curious, be brave, take bold steps towards your dreams. No dream is insurmountable. So go take the first step, go achieve your dreams. Be brave and be kind. Let's spread kindness in all we do, in everybody whom we come and have come across. So those are the three B's be curious, be brave and be kind.
