Hey there, my friends welcome again to another edition of Relax My Mind. I'm Tom Romano along with Venice Sullivan. She's the director of Fair Oaks Cereset. Venice, welcome to the program, we're gonna have a good one today,
Venice Sullivan 0:17
It's gonna be a hot day.
Tom Romano 0:19
Let's begin by saying that Cereset, is all about brain health, explain the name.
Venice Sullivan 0:27
So Cereset literally is a combination of cerebrum, reset, or brain reset. That's all we're doing is letting the computer look at how your brain is functioning at this moment in time, and reflecting that back to the brain and letting it heal itself. One of the things I love is the fact that it is self healing. There are no medications with this. It's non invasive, there's no counseling, you don't have to sit and spill your guts. It's letting your brain do its own work.
Tom Romano 1:01
So why would I need to have my brain reset?
Venice Sullivan 1:05
Sometimes it's something as easy as I just want to function better, I want to be my optimum self, or students right now that are going back to school, you know, Yay, we're getting back to real life, right.
Tom Romano 1:19
mmmhmmm
Venice Sullivan 1:19
But for a lot of people, because we've been told for the last year of all the things we can't do, and then all the things we have to be careful of, that going back to real life is actually spiking their anxiety even more. So that would be one case, kids who are getting ready for their SAT's, they want to be able to perform at their highest level. So anybody who wants to perform better, be able to focus better, be able to handle their stress better, have better relationships, those are all things that Cereset can help you with?
Tom Romano 1:55
Well, I think the obvious question now is how does it work? Cereset, is not just another pill, is it?
Venice Sullivan 2:03
Thankfully, no. Yeah, what I found in my years of working in the health field is that pills, most medications just mask the problem. They're treating the symptom, but they're not getting to the source. And so what Cereset does is picking up your brain waves with sensors on the head, converting those brainwaves to sound and instantly playing them back to you through earbuds. So as your brain hears itself, it recognizes what's not working in its optimum way and sets about relaxing and changing itself to give you better performance.
Tom Romano 2:41
Well, that did that sounds basically pretty simple. But I imagine the complexity of the design of, of how it works is got to be rather complicated. Tell me a little bit about the history of Cereset, and how this technology came about.
Venice Sullivan 2:57
So Lee Gerdes, who is the founder and CEO of Cereset, has a background in physics, computer science, mathematics, theology, and psychology, quite a combination. But a number of years ago, he was attacked by four guys, one with a baseball bat, which left him with PTSD and a head injury. That changed his behavior changed his life, made a big impact on his family life. And he wanted help, he reached out to every type of therapy and doctor he could find and nobody could help him. Until finally a doctor said, you know, Lee, it literally is all in your brain. It's your brain, and we don't know how to fix it. Well, Lee being the man he is said, "Fine, I'll do it myself". And he started putting together this program and started out working on himself. And as he started getting better, friends and family said, "Hey, do that to me, I want some of that too". And so that was really the birth of the Cereset. And that was over 20 years ago.
Tom Romano 4:06
If you fall into that category, and you'd like to challenge them and say, hey, I want to find out more about this. You can simply pick up your cell phone, dial # 250 would say "Relax My Mind". And you'll receive an automated text message with information on how to schedule an introduction to Cereset. Now this is a normally $149 introductory session, but right now it's free to you. So dial # 250 say "Relax My Mind", get a free session, ask the tough questions to Cereset and find out if maybe this is a product that can help you with some of your anxiety and issues that you might have.
Tom Romano 4:49
Venice. Tell me more about your experience with Cereset
Venice Sullivan 4:54
Cereset keeps me sane, I think would be the easiest thing to say about Right now do I have from the time I was a very young child experienced a lot of abuse in my life, physical, mental, sexual abuse. And that changed my life, that it changed how I functioned, with friends, with family, being able to learn. And even as an adult, it continued to change my life in how I related with my kids, my husband, and Cereset has given me my life back. It didn't take away or didn't get rid of those things that happened to me. But those things no longer, no longer run my life. Yeah, so now I can choose how I want to react and function and be with people. And people have told me I'm kinder, I'm more thoughtful, tolerant, and I can have more fun with my grandkids than I could before. It's literally has changed my life.
Tom Romano 5:55
Well, good for you, Venice. And let's talk to Rosie, about how Cereset has improved her life.
Venice Sullivan 6:03
Thank you, Rosie, for coming in today.
Rosie 6:05
Thank you for inviting me Venice.
Venice Sullivan 6:07
Tell us, Rosie, what Cereset has done for you. What's the biggest thing that you've noticed as a change?
Rosie 6:14
I think the biggest takeaway for me, personally, is that I found my voice. I didn't know I'd lost it. And I would not stick up for myself. There would be conversations, sometimes heated arguments where I would just have a tendency to shut down and just not engage. And I now feel safe in the fact that my opinion does count. I can voice my opinion about things and just kind of be done with it, be an adult about it, and move on.
Venice Sullivan 6:48
That's awesome. I remember you telling me a specific story right after you had started it in a pharmacy?
Rosie 6:56
Oh, this was pre COVID. And I was in line the first person being helped by the technician. And there's a sense of privacy that you expect when you're in line, at a pharmacy. And I felt something, somebody's behind me. And I turn around and there's this lady right on my heels. And in the past, I would have just ignored it and just been irritated, done my business and leave. This time I turned around and I politely asked this lady, "Could you give me some space, please, I'm taking care of personal business". And unbeknowst to her. I don't even think she realized it. But she apologized, didn't and took care of herself back in line.
Venice Sullivan 7:46
So one of the questions we ask every client is how's your sleep? You said your sleep was fine. But what did you find was different after going through the program,
Rosie 7:57
Sleep was never an issue. More importantly, what I found I could never quiet my mind. I always wanted to learn how to meditate. And I couldn't just find that neutral in there. I can never, you know, be quiet inside. And Cereset has been able to give me that, the quiet mind where I can focus on my things.
Tom Romano 8:20
If you're just joining us. I'm Tom Romano. I'm with Venice Sullivan. She's the director of Fair Oaks Cereset. Our special guest is Rosie. Rosie is a client with Cereset. She's talking about the success that she's had with the program. Rosie, have you had a chance to talk to others that you know about Cereset and recommended to them?
Rosie 8:43
Yes, I have quite a few. I encourage everybody that I speak with especially family members. They can get something out of it, whether they think they have a problem or not.
Venice Sullivan 8:55
How has it changed your tolerance and working with other people?
Rosie 9:01
I've always considered myself a patient person. However, hindsight being 2020 Maybe I wasn't always as patient as I should have been. So just more understanding, more forgiveness, more grace for myself and for others. Just let them be them and let me take care of myself.
Tom Romano 9:23
Venice, you've worked with Rosie during her sessions as a client. You've gotten to know her. What changes have you noticed in Rosie since she's been through the Cereset as a client
Venice Sullivan 9:37
Well, working with the program for over four years Tom what I know now is depending on the part of the brain that is not working the best that can be, when that's more on the quiet side of the brain is those are the people that don't notice their own changes as much versus people who are more overactive, do notice more of the changes. So, I have noticed Rosie's ability to stand up for herself and speak for herself is probably number one. Sometimes when we're in that very low brain mode, we kind of let people just run over the top of us. And she doesn't do that anymore. I also know she's back in school. She's finishing her college degree right now. And her ability to learn, to pick up things quicker, has really accelerated. So that's one of the things I find really exciting.
Rosie 10:33
Yeah, me too.
Tom Romano 10:35
To learn more about Cereset on your own, simply pick up your cell phone, dial, # 250 say "Relax My Mind", you'll receive an automated text message with information on how to schedule an introduction to Cereset. Remember, now, it's normally $149. But you get it free. That's right, absolutely free. If you dial # 250 and say "Relax My Mind". And maybe if you're lucky, Venice will actually pick up the phone and talk to you. I'm Tom Romano along with Venice Sullivan, Director of Fair Oaks Cereset. Cereset. It's all about brain health.
Tom Romano 11:13
Venice. Let's begin this particular segment by talking about who Cereset can best help. Who can benefit the most from Cereset?
Venice Sullivan 11:23
Just because of the way Cereset works, Tom is it's really beneficial for everyone. That doesn't mean it's right for everyone, or even the right time for everyone. But some of the key people that we've worked with is business owners. Now I happened own two businesses and trying to juggle everything kind of certainly keeps me on my toes and can kind of really drag me down.
Tom Romano 11:49
So you must be your best client.
Venice Sullivan 11:52
I am in the chair on a pretty regular basis for tuneups, because I do recognize when I'm not working at my optimum, but anybody who's wanting to go to work to their optimum level, business owners are very stressed. And especially in today's world,
Tom Romano 12:11
If you're a business person, you will benefit by being a client of Cereset. Because it's going to help you with your anxiety with with maybe how you treat your people, explain more.
Venice Sullivan 12:22
Treating our people is number one, because as we're stressed, we become more short tempered, we become more demanding of our people. One of the things I'm able to recognize that I never did before is when I'm being unreasonable. And I've gotten to the habit of seeing that, maybe not instantly. But realizing that I'm not being reasonable. And I will excuse myself and take myself out of the room. And it's like, I'm not being reasonable right now. I'll be back in a minute. So instead, I would have just, you know, keep hollering or screaming or I don't think I was ever, quote an abusive boss. But, you know, I just want to express how much you have more control over your own behavior. And as a boss that can be important. As a spouse, that's hugely important. I want to express the fact that Cereset is key for any age, we've worked with kids as young as four, we've worked with people up into their late 80s. And it's never too young or too late. So that's really important to me,
Tom Romano 13:33
I talking with Venice Sullivan, she's the director of Fair Oaks Cereset. Venice, you've indicated that you had clients that have been on medications for years, because of anxiety, stress, depression, and we've talked about how the medications basically just mask the the problem. Explain how Cereset helps to cure the problem, if you will.
Venice Sullivan 14:00
Every medication is kind of like a shotgun, you know, it's kind of covering up a lot of symptoms and helping the behavior, or the problem, but it's not doing anything to heal it. And with Cereset, we're literally letting the brain heal itself. We're not healing the brain. It's the brain that is in in command here. Remember, it is the ultimate computer, it runs everything that you see, do, think, feel, it's your ultimate computer in your in your body. So letting it do its best job possible is important. One of the things that I think is important about Cereset, besides the fact that it's a non medical and non medication program, is most of us who have had trauma have had experience of coming into the counselor and spilling our guts and digging up the dirt and doing that forever. You don't do that with Cereset. You know Cereset is you come in, and we want to know how you're functioning right now, how is your sleep? How are you handling the stress in your life, or how old is your concentration, things like that. We don't need to hear the stories, you don't need to repeat the stories, we're just letting the brain heal itself. Doesn't make the story go away. But it no longer controls your life. And one of the groups of people we work with is first responders and military. And if you think about the things that they experience, they don't want to have to dredge that up over and over and over again. And most of them, a lot of them won't go in for therapy just because they don't want to talk about it. It's key for them to be able to function at their optimum level, and have that split second decision making ability, making the right decision, and be able to do it clear headed, and that's what Cereset can help give them. So in fact, our guest Rosie was a first responder in a previous life. How do you think Cereset could have helped you then in that career,
Rosie 16:06
I think he would have helped me manage after a call when we're doing our cleanup at the hospital, taking care of the paperwork, and just kind of resetting, knowing that whatever job we just finished, it's moving on to the next and just keeping calm, and more importantly, how I would be acting at home, after work, and how I function after work, and how I relate to people. Just more relaxed and not constantly thinking about the calls that we had had.
Venice Sullivan 16:35
I know there's a lot of first responders in many different levels are out there listening, what's the one piece of advice you would give them.
Rosie 16:44
Don't wait till it's too late. Take care of yourself before you can take care of others.
Tom Romano 16:49
And you can pick up your cell phone now and dial # 250 and say "Relax My Mind", so that you can receive an automated text message with information on how to schedule an introduction to Cereset. Now this is a no obligation session. In fact, it's absolutely free. For listeners right now, it's normally $149. But you can get it free. And you can ask those questions. And then you don't have to spill your guts, as Venice puts it and talk about the horrible things that may have happened to you. Or for that matter, you can just discuss how you want to see Cereset help you. So once again, dial # 250 say "Relax My Mind", follow the prompts and you're on your way. Venice tell our listeners the process of treatment with Cereset.
Venice Sullivan 17:40
Tom, once a client calls us or texts us we communicate with them a number of times, we first want to make sure that this is the right program for them at this time. We brought up medications earlier and medications, there again are making the brain do something. And what we're doing with Cereset is letting the brain heal itself. Those two processes can argue. So we want to make sure that you know a lot of the medications and not that we can tell the client to stop medications that's up to their doctor. Again, this is not a medical program. And it does not treat specific things, it helps the brain relax. And that's the only thing it does. But after we do a lot of conversation with the client, making sure it's right for them, probably two or three, four phone calls. When they get here, they come in we have a little bit more conversation to see what level of their sleep is at, what level their stress is at, and things like that. And then we seat them in a nice comfy zero gravity chair, put a comfy blanket over them, put earbuds in their ears, we put sensors on their head. And those sensors are picking up the brainwaves, converting them the sound, and playing them back to you through the earbuds. This is all in real time. There's no recording that you're going to listen to later. Your brain is healing as it's changing and changing as it's healing. So we keep that all in real time.
Tom Romano 19:16What kind of a time commitment is necessary. We're talking about people that have businesses and so forth. And you know, people that have jobs and things that they need to do, what kind of a time commitment is somebody going to need to do, to properly be a client for Cereset and get the results that you'd want?
Venice Sullivan 19:36
And that's part of that qualifying that we do with a client up front, is making sure they do have the time to commit and the energy to commit to Cereset because it is a major commitment. The first week that we're seeing you, it's four times in one week, and that can be an hour to two hour appointment each time. There again, this is not an instant process, you didn't get to where you're at unless it was a head injury, instantly. Okay, so it's going to take some time to let the brain relax and heal. And, you know, we start out with those four sessions in a week, we come back about three weeks later and do another session, see how things are. And then we have more of a conversation of ongoing appointments. Not everybody needs the same number of appointments, some, depending on how old we are, our brain doesn't change as quickly, as somebody who's really young. Depending on the level of our traumas, depending on what we're trying to accomplish. There's not a magic formula for everybody, because we're all different. So we make sure before we start with the client that they have, especially the time resources to make this commitment to changing their brain and changing their life. And that's our ideal client is the ones who truly want change, not just covering up the symptoms.
Tom Romano 21:05
Now with Cereset, you you go through the four treatments in the first week, you do some follow ups, and for whatever the reason you you don't come back, can a person actually revert all the way back to all of the problems and issues that they were having prior to their first Cereset set of sessions? Or does that some of that stuff stick with you for years moving forward?
Venice Sullivan 21:30
I think again, that depends on the person. If you haven't had a lot of trauma and trauma, then that is going to stick with you. One of the things that does argue severely with our program is drug use. And alcohol doesn't mean you can never drink. But people who use a lot of alcohol, it actually destroys the brain. And so if you come off Cereset sessions, and you go right back to drinking major amounts of alcohol every day, it's going to revert back. So that's probably the best answer there. But for the average person, you know, many, many of our clients come in, they do their beginning sessions, and we never see them again. If at some point, something happens in life and they're feeling super stressed, then they may come in for another session. But how many of our clients do their sessions they're happy with where they're at, and they continue on with their life.
Tom Romano 22:29
Cereset It's all about brain health, and it's non invasive. And all it really takes is a phone call dial # 250 say "Relax My Mind" and receive that automated text message with information on how to schedule an introduction to Cereset. That's where you're probably your best way to go to really you know, I'm asking questions, but you can ask your own and find out whether Cereset is right for you. And the thing is that introductory session is is absolutely free, normally $149. But you get it for free. So once again, dial #250 and say the key words, "Relax My Mind". Again, this is Tom Romano. I'm here with Venice Sullivan, Director of Fair Oaks Cereset. Venice tell us how Cereset differs from some of the other brain programs that people have heard about.
Venice Sullivan 23:22
So probably Tom though the one we get the biggest questions about is biofeedback or neurofeedback. Everybody thinks well, isn't this the same thing? Because as we're working with the brain, with biofeedback, you are trying to create and control your own behavior, which controls your brain. So it's a very conscious process. Now I'm trying to calm myself which calms my blood pressure, things like that. The difference with Cereset, is it does it internally, we're not directing it, you're not trying to do anything other than sit in the chair and relax. And by letting your brain relax, it allows it to heal itself. You're not having to think about, how do I need to change my breathing? What do I need to do, things like that? So that's the biggest question that we get from most people is the bio and Neurofeedback and Cereset is the only thing out there that is literally letting your brain heal from the inside out. Not something else being done to it.
Tom Romano 24:32
Look, let's bring Rosie back for just a couple of minutes. Rosie, thanks for joining us again today on Cereset. Is there anything about Cereset that, you know you would have done differently?
Rosie 24:44
Um, Venice has spoken just briefly about first responders and if I had known then I would have jumped on the wagon. And I still know a lot of my friends who are first responders that are still working out in the field. You really do need to check out the program. I think it'll help immensely. Whether you want to admit it or not.
Tom Romano 25:05
Cereset It's all about brain health. If you pick up your cell phone and dial # 250 and say "Relax My Mind", you're going to receive an automated text message with information on how to schedule an introduction to Cereset. And again, that's normally $149, but it's yours. Right now. If you call in you'll get it absolutely free. That's #250, keyword. "Relax My Mind". Venice. It's been great being with you today. Thanks so much. Been a great show.
Venice Sullivan 25:37
Thank you so much, Tom. I really enjoyed it.
Tom Romano 25:39
Remember folks Cereset is all about brain health. We'll see you next time here on Relax My Mind. Thanks for joining us.
