Welcome to the KOOLIKEDAT Podcast. My name is Koo Chung. Some of you might remember me as a singer-songwriter back in the day, but when I stopped doing music, it felt like I’d lost my identity altogether. Over time, I realized that people are so much more than what they do, and I’m grateful for the time I spent away from music because it revealed to me who I really was apart from it. On this podcast, I talk about things and ideas I LIKE, and if I’m lucky - WITH the actual people behind them. Some might say: ‘never meet your heroes’, but my quest is to do the exact opposite of that. I want to talk to as MANY people I'm a fan of as possible, to get to know them beyond their craft, and to hear about what makes them tick, and what makes them so KOOLIKEDAT.

All of these episodes have been special for me so far- but this one is ESPECIALLY so, as we are joined (all the way from Korea) by a dear friend I've known since 1996 - Bobby Choy, otherwise known as Big Phony! We get into all of it - his MUSIC, his MOVIE "Music and Reality", and why in Korea, he is a Big PONY!

Bobby, along with his long time friend Danny Cho is also the co-host of a super-fun podcast called "The Noonchi Podcast".
