Back in March 2020, at the beginning of lockdown, a life-altering questioning began to bother Karen. ‘who would I be if I wasn’t me?’ By September, she decided to follow her intuition, she packed up her belongings, rented her flat and moved to Costa Rica, to work with a major re-generation project and at the same time launched the FemmeQ retreat event. The future was calling her.
Bringing together her entrepreneurial skills, systems transformation training and on the ground experience in working with social change organisations, she is committed to transforming the old systems that no longer serve us or our planet.
For the past four decades, Karen has worked with global business leaders to achieve breakthrough results and designed and led culture change and development programmes worldwide. Starting her career as a trained healer and practitioner, she has translated spiritual practices, healing principles, and systemic change into everyday life and business. Her methodology bridges the divide between spirituality and commercial reality, a wholistic approach to developing more conscious and compassionate leaders through her programmes and retreats. Her hands-on experience of building a business in alternative health care, from kitchen table-top to a multi-million dollar enterprise, afforded her the credentials of an MBA.
