Laila Lutf Al Thawr, Mother of detainees, mother of Yemen. A Woman on the Path to Peace is unstoppable because she knows humans can help humans. She comes from care for others.  Although she can't stay safe in one place for a long time, she saves the lives of others because she feels it’s her task. Her drive is her imagination to be in the shoes of people suffering from injustice, being missed by their beloved ones, taken into prison.
She contributed to the release of 1,000 prisoners, including her mediation in Yemen's first and largest prisoner exchange on 17/12/2015. Als she was leading - a follow-up and released more than 100 children and women and men in prison.

Her CV is impressive and only covering a crumb of her impact.
- Assistant Secretary-General, Head of the Political Bureau and Relations of the Arab Hope party previously known as  (Arab Spring Party).

- Deputy Political Affairs and Relations of the President of the Supreme Council for Coordination of Parties and Supreme Revolutionary Forces and civil society organizations.

- Head manager of  Sam for peace and human rights initiative.
 - An activist in the areas of peace, negotiation, conflict resolution and kidnapping.
 - A gender and communication trainer.

She has only one question: let my voice be heard so I will be seen and save more people. While globally visible, it is harder to silence me.

Dear Laila, we take that step now!
