I begin with a segment of Pope St. John Paul II's Encyclical Veritatis Splendor. Words that I ask you to remember throughout this episode.

… The just autonomy of practical reason means that man possesses in himself his own law, received from the Creator. However, the autonomy of reason cannot mean the creation, on the part of reason itself, of values and moral norms. If this autonomy implied a denial of the participation of practical reason in the wisdom of the divine Creator and Lawgiver, or if a creative freedom of moral norms were suggested, according to historical contingencies or different societies and cultures, such an alleged autonomy would contradict the Church's teaching on the truth about man.73 It would be the death of true freedom: "But you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day that you eat of it you will surely die" (Gen 2:17).

Hello, welcome to episode No 68 and the tenth of the third season of our podcast GREAT SCIENTIFIC FRAUDS.

Two important things I pointed out in the previous episode: 

The systematic and careful creation of gender theory, transforming it into a real pandemic, as an epidemiologist whom I admire and appreciate very much pointed out, and second, the diabolical plan to direct this, mainly, against our children. All this, moreover, has been happening right under our very noses.

In this episode I will continue to denounce this perverse agenda, and I will continue to unravel the most notable components of it and the consequences of what has become one of the pandemics of our time, which unfortunately, is mainly affecting the mind and body of our children.

Role of the internet in the extension of the pandemic  02:44

In the previous episode I mentioned the way in which within educational centers, including schools from kindergarten level, efforts are made to poison the minds of our children, with direct exhortations and the use of bibliographies. Research by author Mark Dice has revealed that some schools are receiving grants to fund the promotion of this ideology, as is the case with Valid USA which funds Gender-Affirming Closets.

Other organizations, such as Welcoming Schools, promote directly and through their website "gender affirmation" in primary schools and the transition of these to other genders. The case of "The Trevor also project.org that under the figure of "preventing suicides" LGBTQ student organizations and clubs, such as the "Gender and Sexuality Alliances" and others, promote to be activated in schools. They also promote many other "gender-affirming" activities. Even Johns Hopkins University itself, which had already been infected for some time, as we will see later, following the norm of "political correctness" also has its program of gender affirmation in general and, in particular, of subsidizing "gender closets" to schools.

No one escapes this pandemic.

There are many other organizations of the same type, but none of them take into account the importance of developing the right counseling to scientifically address concerns about children's normal development.

In addition to the massive work of all these promoters of the pandemic, there is one of the most dangerous means: social networks. They work by taking advantage of the concept of "peer pressure" that is very powerful in the minds of young people. This is defined as "the influence exerted by a group to encourage a person to change his attitudes in the direction of the norms of his own group". I suggest you read the two references I have about this in the episode description.

The rapid development and spread of social networks

on the internet it has been described in Abigail Favale's book where she compares it to "Jonah's whale" and I quote: "A beast that has swallowed us whole; we live in its dark belly, our faces illuminated by our screens."

The Internet lends itself to forming isolated, closed communities, with people who share the same interests; In this case, young people who share the same feelings of "growing pains", alluding to the film I mentioned last week. Through these channels, activists present adolescents with these "gateways to fantasy" as a way to alleviate their concerns.

This is where they make them aware of the paths to transition, using as stimuli young people of the same age who have made the transition. This happens, disguising itself in sheep's clothing of affection and understanding. Dr. Favale, based on her conversation with many young people, describes this environment and quote, "It is like a cult, characterized by pathological groupthink and ideological conformity, advocating isolation from friends and family who raise questions or concerns about transition."

Dr. Favale even goes further and assures that In all the transition stories she has heard, the Internet played a key role. She describes in her book how one person after another who underwent transition, say they are involved in the world of the internet; it was through Tumbir's YouTube videos and blogs, that they were convinced and led to the use of hormones, breast bandaging and even ultimately led them to seek surgical transition. Most agree that seeing numerous trans "influencers" was what primarily led them to that decision.

They describe how these "influencers" not only convince them but also give them information on where and with whom to get services for the transition. They also guide them on how to manipulate their parents and doctors into believing that they have true gender dysphoria and that they should follow the transition procedure, not just hormones but even surgical procedures.

This whole process of promotion, not only in schools, as we have already seen, but also through social networks and the internet, is basically aimed at young people, who, due to their age, have in many cases, a normal dissatisfaction with their body. With this peer pressure, this becomes something unhealthy. A few others simply follow this as the fashionable issue. 

We all remember the movies about the avatar, where the protagonist was an invalid man who manages to transform, through a scientific experiment, into a being, "the avatar" that frees him from that body and manages to do extraordinary things. For these poor young people feel equally disabled and seek to become the "avatar" for their liberation. 

The difference is that what is given is a destruction of his body in the pursuit of that ideal body, which is an attack on his own God-given human dignity. In the document Dignitas Infinta we read the following and I quote: "... the human body participates in the dignity of the "image of God. Such a truth deserves to be remembered especially when it comes to sex change"... 

In the next section I present some statistics on the transition.

Beginning of trans ideology 10:08

Unfortunately, many parents are also incorporated into this process of convincing them to sexual transition who, as a result of propaganda, have convinced themselves that this is the best thing for their children, including those of preschool age. They also include politicians who, sticking to the nefarious concept of "political correctness", think that they can attract the vote of progressive liberals who here in the United States are made up of a large part of the Democratic Party.

All these factors have contributed to an extraordinary increase in people, especially young people, who in recent years have undergone a gender transition process. Dr. Debra Soh, whom we have quoted earlier, presents some statistics on this in her book. 

In the last 10 years, in the United States, the number of people who identify as transgender has gone from 0.3% to 0.6% of the total population. There are various reasons for this, but the massive propaganda, through the aforementioned media, has a lot to do with it. Their research also revealed that, in the last decade, the transition to men increased 25 times in people, predominantly among underage girls. In the United Kingdom, the largest gender clinic received between 2018 and 2019, more than 2500 referrals for gender dysphoria, including children as young as 3 years old. 

Dr. Abigail Favale found in her research that, in addition to the numerical increase in patients requesting a transition, the demographics of these patients have also changed. Before the internet, these used to be mostly men in their 40s. From 2014 this began to change; in 2019 there were 3 times more women than men and most were adolescents.

Prior to 2012, she found no solid evidence of gender dysphoria in adolescents. Then, this began to occur very rarely in children and adolescents, finding only 0.1% and most in boys. However, in less than 10 years, references to gender dysphoria in children increased by 2000%, mostly female adolescents.

I will talk briefly about this higher prevalence in women in another episode.

We must take into account that the transition, which is called "gender-affirming care", has different stages or forms. One is where only social changes occur; This is where the adoption of pronouns, name changes, wearing clothes of the sex you adopt, etc. come in. Then there is the stage of medical intervention, which can be the use of hormones, pubertal blockers or surgeries. All this produces severe disorders, especially when they are practiced on children, but the most dramatic are medical interventions.

Pubertal blockers produce severe permanent effects, but the most dramatic are surgical mutilations, such as mastectomies and surgical transformations of the sexual organs that simulate the passage from one organ to another. Phalloplasty, for example, is a surgery for what they call "masculinizing gender affirmation"; This consists of a multi-stage process that includes:

Creation of the male organ. 

Alterations of the urethra.

Creation of the scrotum.

Removal of the vagina, uterus, and ovaries.

Placement of erectile and testicular implants.

Skin graft at the site of the donor tissue. 

This is not simple or totally safe as it is proposed; it can lead to multiple complications including: pulmonary embolism, sepsis, bladder cut; pain due to the presence of hair inside the urethra and many others. All this without counting the very high medical expenses.

The organic medical complications that these gender-affirming therapies entail are perhaps not the most serious. Gender-affirming therapies or whatever you want to call them, are disastrous, there has been an attempt to differentiate between two invented terms: "identity and sexual orientation". But call it what you will, this is nothing more than femininity and masculinity, each of which is linked to its corresponding sex and which is biologically determined. 

The case of David Reimer that I describe in the next section illustrates the terrible consequences of denial of this. It will also help us to see the sinister origins of this gender ideology.

The David Reimer case. 15:48

Within gender ideology there is something even more perverse and nefarious that has transformed itself into a new ideology: "trans ideology". To know its sinister origin we must go back to John Money. 

Who is this character?

John William Money was a psychologist and sexologist known for his research on sexual identity and gender biology. He was one of the main promoters of the concepts of gender identity, gender role, gender identity/role. He was the first person to use the word "gender" in place of "sex" which led to the full formation of the ideology that denies the role of biology in determining the attributes that make up behavior inherent to men and women. He was a professor of pediatrics and medical psychology at Johns Hopkins University from 1951 until his death in 2006. he was one of the founders of the "Sexual Behaviors Unit" of that university in 1966. This was the world's first gender identity clinic; Here he developed studies on "sex reassignment" surgery.

One of these studies turned out to be the most infamous and most tragic: the case that ended up being called John/Joan 

In 1965, Bruce Reimer was born of a normal twin birth. Bruce was circumcised, which is a completely simple and quick surgery, but the technique used by the doctor resulted in his penis being irreparably damaged. His twin brother was not circumcised. His parents consulted a large number of doctors trying to seek help, without any result until they met John Money in 1967 who agreed to take their case. Money espoused the idea that gender was a social construct, malleable from an early age, and saw this case as a great opportunity to test his ideas so he convinced the parents to raise Bruce as a woman and, for this, recommended the surgery that was being performed at the time to correct congenital abnormalities of the sexual organs in hermaphrodite or intersex patients. It should be remembered that Reimer was normal.

There began the torture not only of Bruce but of his brother, as I explain below. Johns Hopkins surgeons then subjected Bruce to surgeries transforming his sex organs from male to female, supplying female hormones, and raising him by his parents, as a child. These processes that, according to Money, would change her sex. Money wanted to test his hypothesis that all babies are born gender-neutral and could be brought to a chosen gender, through nurture and environment. For the first few years, Reimer was never told he was born a boy. They gave her the name Brenda, put her in girl's dresses, bought her dollhouses and a sewing machine to play with. No one outside of the parents and treating doctors knew what was going on, not even his twin brother who Money used in his experiment as a control.

Reimer received, along with his twin brother, annual checkups from Money. During psychiatric visits, both were made to inspect each other's genitals and engage in behaviors and poses similar to sexual intercourse, as part of the experiment that Money said helped reaffirm their sexual identity. Money described Reimer's transition as successful, and claimed that Reimer's childish behavior contrasted with his brother's manly nature. Money reported Reimer's case, signed as the John/Joan case, as a success. 

Contrary to Money's notes, Reimer later reported as an adult, in a series of public interviews, that, as a child, he refused his mother's requests to put on makeup on her and tore the lace clothes she wore him in.

At school, his classmates made fun of him because they saw his behavior strange. Remember that I had said in other episodes that this transformation leads people to a fantasy based on euphemisms that are not normal in natural sex. . Even his teachers did not fully accept him because of his rather masculine behavior that did not match his supposed femininity.

Reimer claimed that despite receiving female hormones, wearing dresses and having his interests directed toward typically feminine norms, he always felt like he was a boy. Despite her upbringing, Reimer rejected female identity as a teenager and began living as a man. In 1980, at the age of fifteen, Reimer's father told her the truth about his birth and subsequent procedures. 

After that revelation, Reimer assumed a masculine identity, taking the given name David. Hence the name in the history of this case that had enormous global repercussions and of many kinds: the David Reimer case. At the age of twenty-one, Reimer received testosterone therapy and surgeries to remove her breasts that had arisen from previous treatment with female hormones. He underwent a series of surgeries to reconstruct his genitals, although these were obviously never functional again. Prostheses were used. on September 22, 1990 he married Jane Fontaine, a single mother of three children, whom he adopted.

But the story does not end here; It was not the happy ending of the novel that we would have liked to see either. I talk about this in the next section.

The tragic end of the David Reimer case  22:45 

According to the public statements that David Reimer gave to the media, he suffered from severe depression throughout his life. At the age of thirteen, Reimer threatened suicide if his parents took him to the next annual visit with Money. In his twenties, Reimer attempted suicide twice. He stated that his married life was full of financial problems and relationship problems with his spouse. Reimer's brother, who suffered from depression, died of an antidepressant overdose in July 2002. On May 2, 2004, Reimer's spouse filed for divorce. Two days later, at the age of thirty-eight, David Reimer committed suicide by shooting himself.

This is how a cruel and amoral experiment helped give birth to today's trans movement. John Money's experiment was misdirected and cruel. By trying to prove that biological sex has nothing to do with whether one is female or male, he only succeeded in demonstrating the opposite: that gender is not fluid; that cannot be molded at will through medical interventions and hormonal treatments. 

But despite its sinister origins, what is now called "gender-affirming care" is now accepted by institutions, such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and a large section of the medical group, as the appropriate treatment approach for children with gender dysphoria. To speak of children with this condition by a group of that supposed scientific level is pretentious and wrong. 

I will talk about this and the terrible consequences left by Money's experiment in the next episode. I just want to end by leaving the following message to all my medical colleagues who participate in one way or another in this perversity against our children:

And Jesus said to his disciples, "Stumbling blocks are bound to come, but woe to him through whom they come!" It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and thrown into the sea, than to trip one of these little ones. Be careful! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times a day, and comes back to you seven times, saying, "I repent," forgive him.
