Be compassionate with yourself, even when you have a moment. Embrace and drop in your body, where do you feel tense? Does it feel like a knot in your stomach, or is your head spinning? Emotions are the language of the body, while thoughts are the vocabulary of the brain.
Embrace whatever emotion that you feel is moving around your body. Support yourself, nothing has gone wrong, I am scared, I am angry, because my loved one is going through cancer treatments. I am a human being, I am going through a human experience.
When you treat yourself with kindness and compassion, it is easier for you to treat other people in your life the same way. You will realize that other people are having their own human experience the same way you are.
