First, I toured The Breakers, the colossal "summer cottage" of the famous Vanderbilt family in Newport. It's a massive mansion where a lot of sad stuff happened and where the matriarch of the family is said to still live. Then I hit up Lizzie Borden's house in nearby Fall River, Massachusetts.
