Hey Y’all, Hey!  We’re back, and we want to thank you for your continued support—we’re so grateful to have you rocking with us!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and in this episode, we explore the critical role of social workers in supporting survivors of sexual assault.  We’re honored to speak with Sandra Jordan, LCSW—a seasoned New York City Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate trauma, grief, anxiety and abuse.

As a Victims Services Coordinator and senior supervisor in a busy Emergency Department, Queen S educates staff on domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, human trafficking and child neglect.  She shares her expertise, challenges and insights as a medical social worker supporting survivors in hospital settings and beyond.
