March is Pharmacists Appreciation Month and now is the perfect time to hear about how pharmacists have risen to the challenge during COVID-19, playing a critical role in patient care during the pandemic. Leanne will speak to the impact of COVID-19 on pharmacy and the pressures on pharmacists at a time when they were the most accessible healthcare practitioner.
 
We’ll explore the evolution of pharmacy scope of practice in the last 12 months and how COVID-19 will continue to influence how pharmacists care for their patients long after the pandemic is over. Leanne will also speak to the role of pharmacy in the delivery of the COVID-19 vaccination, the timing and availability of vaccines, and the ability of pharmacists to rise to the challenge once again.
