Getting Over It - Getting Over Grief

Grief is unavoidable in our fallen world. Sorrow, suffering, and death surround us, but so does the compassion of Christ. This week, Pastor Connor continues our series, Getting Over It, with a look at how Jesus shares the grief of Mary and Martha in John 11. Instead of dismissing their sorrow or rebuking them for it, Jesus joins them in weeping. Pastor Connor discusses how Christians can grieve well, not as those without hope, but as people who believe in the Resurrection and eternal life.

This week, our hosts continue their discussion on the series "Getting Over It", where they go over the emotion of grief, they talk about times Jesus wept, what David and Paul said about the resurrection, and tips on ways to help someone that is mourning. Oh and tune into the beginning to hear our hosts talk about Connor's favorite thing to eat at a potluck, quick spoiler, it's pasta salad, we have added a bell sound effect to go off every time they say the phrase "pasta salad" have fun with counting them, cause it's said a lot.
